Layne and Kurt, Alice in chains and Nirvana were my 2 favourite bands..im not one to be like "oh hes better or they are better".. Both bands made great albums, deffo different from each other and and i liked that. You need balance in music, you different music from one band to the next. I never got into Pearl jam back when i was a teen in the 90si don't know why but pearl jam just reminded me of a very very safe, posh grunge college rock band😅 i don't know. I can listen to ten and vs' but i have no enthusiasm when listening to pearl Jam. Id rather listen to AIC 👍🏻🎸

The way William smiles at Jerry 5:16 is such a standout moment. Especially when you remember his band supported Jerry during the Degradation Trip tour and that he's probably seen him at his lowest AND he was around him when news of Layne's death hit. Hell, I think I saw everyone on stage have a moment of awe at Jerry coming alive while playing. Sean's was at 0:31, Nancy at 0:42, Mike at 1:50 (look at that big smile!), Ann at 4:13, and to a lesser extent Duff at 2:03.

Sean here is like Krist after Kurt died. After their friend/lead singer died, a piece of them died. And that's true of anyone but in this case, their personalities are noticeably different.

The line " maybe u can talk me out.." really hurts. It only makes the song seem that much more meaningful. Depression is like gravity you can't beat it alone. And if you try it just holds you down. Reach out if your down. Cause someone has already been where you are at right now.

Phil was incredible here. Maynard Keenan did justice singing Man in the Box with AIC. Greg Puciato slayed doing Layne’s parts on tour with Jerry Cantrell.
