I love the Solawave. It's easy to carry, easy to use, and I notice the difference. Plus inexpensive. My only gripe is that sometimes it just won't turn off and so then runs down the battery and I have to recharge it when I go to use it. It has no 'off' button, so if it doesn't turn of on its own when not in contact with damp skin, there's nothing you can do to make it.

This was a great and informative interview, Claire. Thank you! Next time please ask if fat or nano fat can also be injected on the periorbital area, temples and side of the forehead (above the side of eyebrow and temples). These areas we loose volume, collagen, fat, bone, all and makes us look older. That's where I'm looking to fill and trying to find an experienced Fat Transfer Doctor around Miami area. Thank you!

what about the electric current device with a glass wand that actually arcs electricity onto your face and can be used on your scalp also? I don't think that's the same as the micro current that makes muscle contractions you showed here

To clarify, every person has TMJ. TMJ stands for temporomandibular joint. The temporomandibular joints are the two joints that connect your lower jaw to your skull. More specifically, they are the joints that slide and rotate in front of each ear. They consist of the mandible, which is the lower jaw, and the temporal bone, which is the side and base of the skull. What you meant to say is that you have TMJ Disorder. TMJ Disorder is a disorder of the jaw muscles, temporomandibular joints, and the nerves associated with chronic facial pain. Any problem that prevents the complex system of muscles, bones, and joints from working together in harmony may result in TMJ Disorder.

I have the Maysama Redlight Panel. Per the instructions, I eased my way to 1 minute steady light and 6 minutes pulsed light about 5 days a week. I started in January. There have been a few weeks I have not been able to use it at all due to life circumstances. I thought it wasn't doing much, but the other day I watched a video I made a year and a half ago. I *think* my skin looked saggier then than it does now. I will take a 6-mo picture next month, but I am encouraged. I might be getting good results, despite not being absolutely consistent!

This is a really useful video. I also use a red light mask, the Maysama Prana mask, and the ZIIP Halo. I use both of them 5-6 times a week. I was really interested to hear about you using water instead of a conductor gel. I was under the impression you had to use a conductor gel for the device to work. I’d be very keen to save some money by not buying the conductor gel! I also have a Nira precision laser but don’t use it very often. I don’t really like using it and I’m not convinced by the results that I’ve seen on other users. I’m going to check out the video you did on the Nira laser. Thank you so much for your trust ❤️ I think conductor gels probably do help maximize the impact but that’s not to say the device is not effective without a conductor gel and I don’t like a very strong current. I often notice a little muscle twitching above my brow after using microcurrent which tells me my muscles have definitely been stimulated without using a gel.

Botox targets the muscle while the Nira works much more superficially and targets the water in the surface layers of your skin so they shouldn’t really interact but I couldn’t say for sure. Like so many things in skincare it’s unstudied.

Something seems a little suspect about The Urchin by Maysama. On their KZfaq Channel they posted when the device was first launched 10 months ago. Some people asked questions to Bev May Sanderson about the Urchin device, and no response was ever made. Nothing else has been posted on their Channel about the device. Even when searching for reviews of the Urchin on other YT Channels, there are few reviews and they are months old. And, the fact that the Urchin has been continually Out of Stock, makes me suspicious that something is wrong with the product. If you can get some information about what is going on, that would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't understand why the water in your tissue isn't enough for conduction? I use Nuface without gel and I can feel it zinging around. Is it mandatory or another product to market and sell? I make my own gel with organic aloe and tea bags (Rooibos). Heat up the gel and steep tea bags, either herbal or regular tea, black or green. It's quite refreshing actually and smells good too although it's a little runny and doesn't work in a spray bottle. I'll also use just a simple rose water spray, Heritage? makes a nice one.
@hanniehoekstra8511
@hanniehoekstra8511 Күн бұрын
@@andreapulver2127 first of all you need glide as you don’t want to drag the device over your dry skin. That’s why you need a fluid or gel. But on top of that you need something that’s going to let the electrical current flow through. As tapwater contains things like sodium, calcium and magnesium salts it can ‘transport’ electricity and is a perfect conductor.

I have mentioned this a couple times previously, I love my PICO Toner. You can buy the probes as an add on, which do require the conductive gel, but the plane PICO Toner micro current device, right out of the box uses conductive gloves, so no conductive gel is used. You only need to have the gloves wet. I wash the gloves out about once a week with a mild soap and hang them to dry with my bathroom towel. I also started using the ZIIP about 3 months ago, but I tend to dislike the conductive gels that make my skin crawl. Hence, I love the PICO Toner which I can use while watching television or, if I want to treat my hands, I use a higher frequency and leave the gloves on while we are watching a movie. For my red light, I use the Korean Time Master Pro (other colored lights are an option, but I usually use the red light option).

@@thehonestchannel Another benefit to the PICO Toner is that you can put it on a stronger setting and do your body (arms, thighs, & butt). During the pandemic, there was a couple women selling them out of their salon in the UK. The name of the company that manufactures these is Neurotris out of Irvine, CA, USA. Tony, the engineer, has an old YT video where one of their representatives uses the device using both the probe option or gloves option on various parts of the face and body. Their biggest market are the salons using the Neurotris in-office machines. The PICO Toner is strictly for the home user or the salon owner that is just starting up. If you get the device, it comes with gloves, but if you wait for the sales (Black Friday), I would also opt for the extra gloves that are light grey in color. Beauty with Aloha Jenn said that these are better for sensitive skin (not cheap…US$95, I believe). When I order, I am usually using a broker since I live outside the US, so waiting for sales takes the ouch out of the price of the product and the broker’s fees. Thank you again for your feeds!

Eye twitching can be a lack of B12. My eyes were twitching a few years ago and then I did blood tests and it said I was slightly low in B12. I took a B12 supplement and then the twitching went away. I redid the blood test a year later and my B12 was back to normal after having the supplement. Has your mom checked her B12 level? I bought a cheaper dupe of the Solar Wave from SHEIN and have been using that for a few weeks. I think telling an older person they look their age is a problem because i am 44 and think i look more like 34. If someone told me i looked 44 i will be honest and say i would be offended and see it as a problem as i put a lot of work into how i look, i wear sunscreen and exercise and drink water and eat healthy and cleanse my face daily..so it would make me think its all for nothing if someone said i looked my exact age. In other words i expect people to think i look younger as i myself do think that due to my diet, cleansing, etc...And finally, telling someone in their 50s they look their age is different than telling a teenager they look 20 as if i was in my 50s id want to look 34 still, same as at 44 i want to look that age which i feel i do due to my regime. Im aware that after early 30s or so we change and see the odd grey hair and crows feet but i dont want it if im honest. And have to be honest, i disagree, i dont think everyone looks their age, i know someone who is 56 and i first met them 20 years ago when they were 36 and now they look exactly the same to me as they did then. I know a man whos 70 yet looks 52. Aging is a funny thing, some people seem to age whilst others dont. But either way i want youth back as to not have to worry about aging at all as i think from 34 and older people start to think about it, whereas before they didnt have to. You look great btw :)

Thanks for sharing your feelings honestly : ) The 'I look my age' is a reference to the social media campaign which aims to highlight that we can look very different for our particular age but we shouldn't be or feel judged for it. Not sure I explained that bit as clearly as I could of though!
