New subscriber here, due to your PF reactions. A dear friend of mine was Syd's science teacher when he was at school. I knew Syd, used to see him walking around Cambridge until he died. Poor crazy diamond.

Their cover of 'Enter Sandman' may be the best cover of an epic rock classic, ever!!) Their entire discography, to date, is immaculately conceived! They are, IMHO ... "The Best Hard Rock Power Trio of the 21st Century" Heed `The Warning'!!!🦉🤟⚡🍩👍⚠💥

I'm long time wintersun fan and it's hard in words to tell how much this band means to me. "It's everything" sounds exaggerated but a very descriptive expression. I just love this band!. And for your question, what is my favourite song, hmmm...i thing it is "awaken from the dark slumber". If you haven't heard it already, i want to see your reaction!! Greetings from Finland 🇫🇮 🤘 😎

I love the fact that you aren't aware of the fight against sexism that women are still fighting. It is still routine for women not to be viewed as equals on the battlefield or in any place In The Battle of the Atlantic a group of young women developed tactics for defeating the Nazi Wolfpacks of submarines who were attacking vital Allied supply shipping. They were playing war games and interestingly high up naval commanders would come to learn techniques and were often beaten by a twenty year old women (which was a shock to them) Those women saved thousands of lives and shortened WW2 considerably. But they rarely get mentioned.

Speechless seems like an appropriate reaction for hearing Yannis for the first time 🤣 The entire band is awesome, I like their themes, their lyrics, their beats, solos, all. And ofc the way their vocalist sings. I believe he is classically trained and you can feel that. He has some very cool covers of his own. You ight wat to check his youtube channel :) As for the band itself, Anton, the guitarist left Battle Beast (also a very cool band and their female vocalist is amazing) and founded Beast in Black; he is a huge anime fan and the name of both bands actually relates to Berserk (manga and anime) Some of the songs are directly connected to the story in Berserk actually :) Another major influence for them is Blade runner and the entire cyberpunk culture. You might wanna check those songs as well. All in all, they are very fun to listen to, they lift the spirit and energy levels with their tunes (perfect 80's training montage or workout :)))

Tommy's voice mimic Dee Sniders fairly well. Just watched the original kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i9aWjcZ2z9XUiXk.htmlsi=yicd3hqGj6ChW-qy and Tommy's version has a bit more layers of guitar I think. The original and Tommy's take on it are very good

You deserve more views. You react to Floyd the way they intended. As albums. Don't stop. Pink Floyd is salve for the soul. If you enjoy it now, you'll enjoy it for the rest of your life. It just gets better with familiarity and time. The Floyd rabbit hole is SOOO deep. As an example; the 8-track features a version of Pigs On The Wing that combines parts 1&2 with a beautiful guitar bridge by Snowy White. It's a deep pool of incredible music.

My father grew up on 50s-60s music, Mom was 60s-70s. Born in '75, I was raised on Motown and 60's rock. I had a pair of giant late-70's headphones placed on my head at age 6 or 7 and was exposed to Inna-Godda-Da-Vida at a volume that would be considered child abuse today. It was great! (Iron Butterfly. Check out the full-length version) . But Floyd somehow was never on my parent's radar. ... My first exposure was on an extended overnight field trip for school, age 11 or so. On the bus, late at night, and feeling motion sick. A chaperone gave me a coke and his walkman to make me feel better. The music was amazing, and it lingered with me... I didn't realize until several years later it was Darkside. ... The Wall was my official introduction to Pink Floyd, age 15-ish. 1994, age 19, I was blessed to have been able to attend the Pulse tour. Almost 40 years later, no music touches my soul like Pink Floyd. It actually gets BETTER the more you listen to it. It's music for a lifetime.

Thoroughly enjoying your trip down the Floyd rabbit hole. ... I, personally, would love to see another album reaction. Specifically, the album that follows this one, and is criminally overlooked; "Obscured By Clouds." It's a transitional album, like Meddle. It's not a grand concept album, but it's warm and intimate. I describe it as like having breakfast with the band in your pajamas.

Nice one👊🏽⚡️They both work very good together. I hope the do more together. Babymetal has a great song called, “Metali” featuring Tom Morello (Rage against the machine guitarist). For Electric Callboy you should definitely check out their breakout hit, (Hypa hypa)..🦊🤘🏾

They met in Boston for the first time. Fans spotted Babymetal and the rumor about a potential collab or feature existed on reddit for some time. In early May, Electric Callboy spoiled this collaboration and said they already composed a killer track for this collab and that's a collab with a band that is not from Germany and who can dance a lot better than they do.
@dnocturn84

Electric Callboy is first and formost a metalcore band. They're not "techno and EDM". They're metal plus EDM and/or something else, like rap for example. You make them sound like they're just some DJs or MCs. lol
