With all the work you put in on those pieces, I hope the owner will completely chrome the front end. Master class work, thanks for taking us on the ride.

i like to use a diamond cutoff disk to trim the sandpaper (not for this application though). I imagine it might even work to cut these round sandpapers while they are rotating, should give a perfectly round result!

Hey Tony, the greatest lesson I've learned is that I don't have to make complicated pieces from one piece of metal. Once I accepted that, the once impossible can be done with my simple tools. Thanks

That's been in my shop for years. I talked about it in the past. I hardly ever use it but for this job it was great
You're absolutely right, it seems like things are dropped always happen to hit a surface a certain way so it can be next to impossible to find or reach 😅 It must be gremlins or something. Hide here, no hide over here 😂

Tony. For a minute I thought I had tuned into a new KZfaq channel called “Tony’s Templates” LOL. We don’t see you using templates much. I want to sincerely thank you for your teaching. I am a 73 year old hobbyist who loves to fabricate, weld and do serious rust repair. I used to do butt welds the hard way. Now I am a Cut and Butt man. Thanks!

I've actually learned a couple things from Fitz. Pinning down the patch over the old and using the old for the form. As well as pinning down the corners first so they don't turn down. Great stuff.

Looks great Fitzie, glad you took some timo to do some of the great work you do for yourself. Now get busy with a new “ cut and butt” lol. Thanks for your vids the are the best on the internet. You are walking me through complex body panels, that you cant buy. With you who needs to buy crappy panels, when you can make them yourself { time consuming} but it is do-able. Thank you and congrats on the finishing of the Mustang.
