I just watched this video. This is perfect. I learned to drive a Ford model-N tractor back in 1970 on my uncle's farm, i was 10 year's old. He had two model N, for pulling hay wagon's, the Hay rake, etc. I remember those old Fords very well. While the WWII moto-tug is an older version, the basic engine and transmission were the same. You did a wonderfull job. Really enjoyed watching youre scratch build to improve the old girl.

@cslvisualstudio2 ай бұрын
Hi, I don't really remember how much time I spent on this project. Scale modelling is not my only hobby, I spend an average of 8-10 hours a week on the actual kit. An average project takes 2-4 months depending on how complex it is. The P47 was a relatively simple and quick build. I think it took about 70 hours of work. I'm a slow builder. :-)

Some thoughts. Are not the tail wheel and the rudder both slaved to the rudder pedals. How can they be pointing differently. The 109 was created in halfs. there is a panel line down the top and bottom of the fuselage that you have removed. Fantastic build.
@cslvisualstudio3 ай бұрын
Hi, The tail wheel wasn't connected to the rudder. It could move freely. You are correct, there were panel lines at the top and the bottom. Unfortunately, I didn't scratch them deep enough, so they almost completely disappeared. Next time I'll do better. Thx for your comment.

Cracking job! I'm doing the E-1 version now, re-boxed by the Plastic Planet Club. The instructions leave a lot to be desired, and the engine, exhausts and oil cooler parts are really fiddly--over-engineered by Eduard in my opinion. Can't argue with end result, though, but definitely a kit for the experienced-and very patient-modeler. Look forward to your next build!

The ejection handles can be done by two fine threads , one black and yellow, bind and twist, set in place with PVC white glue, I saw this article in Fine Scale Magazine 5-yrs ago. In scale 1/72 wire might be use. super glue to set it placed, while the paint is acrylic.

AWESOME!!! I Always wanted to build a WW1 bi-plane, but it is the rigging...that gives me some hesitance. And after seeing This posting... YIKES!!!! Seriously, though, I think I Could do the rigging since I do 1/700 ships and I do the rigging of radio and signal flag lines. But Your rigging is Really Remarkable. If I may ask..... I see you doing the rigging on the bottom of the plane with plans ( 14:45 ), are those your Own or the 'Eduards' kit?? I also like that wicker chair, ( I guess it could be up to the pilot to put in his own chair...I would have put in my recliner ) Overall.... Superior!! So Far, can't wait to see the rest!!
@cslvisualstudio4 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. All of the rigging is from me. Actually, rigging is not as hard as it looks. I think the key is the order of the rigging wires, but I will show it in the upcoming video. Thank you again
