I had this game on the original Genesis when I was little too, along with 1 and 2 (And Mean Bean Machine). Yes, this game does indeed exist. It's pretty short, but also pretty fun. It basically takes Casino Night from 2 and turns it into a whole game. I know the lore isn't too consistent with the other games, but oh well. The only track I really don't like is the options theme, the rest of the music is good, like you said. I've beaten this game plenty of times. I actually didn't know the Cyber City thing. So yeah, this game good. F.

If u hold down the grind button, you will go a lot faster than mashing it. This made rail canyon one of my favorite maps to play. It’s so much fun to launch off of those rails at max speed and land on a platform, cutting off multiple sections of the game. Plus free falling and sticking the landing is so much fun lol. With that said, the 2 arcs I hate the most is the casino lvls and mystic mansion cuz it slows u down, focusing heavily on platform jumping, puzzles, and defeating enemies.

This was the first game I ever played. Can't believe its 20 years old now 😢 A memory I have with it thats stuck with me is how long it took me to beat it 😂

The Dookie version of Christie Road is just ever so slightly too slow and it throws off the whole vibe of the track. That’s probably why they never released it.

Boy you really hate Team Chaotix lol. I love them. After 3 stories, it spices it up a bit. I think you take the missions too seriously story wise. They don't really connect to the story, they're just missions. And I loved em. I thought they were easy except for Mystic Mansion And I disagree with you saying it was a bad idea that you have to beat all stories to unlock the last story. Otherwise Team Chaotix being with Eggman would be confusing. I'm disagreeing with you a lot :(

I don't think the PS2 version is that bad at all. It runs fine I disagree with you saying Shadow was the weakest part of the story. Shadow was great. The amnesia thing was weird but he still acted like himself. His line at the start at Egg Fleet was badass

The train noises of Rail Canyon of the PC version made me die of laughter beyond all reason it seems the PC versions of certain video games tend to have excessively high sound quality

When it came to Sonic Adventure 2 even though it did go through a period when there were fans saying that the game was not all that good to downright bad, I just could not get down with that. I could admit the game was flawed and it's not perfect but despite the flaws, I thought the game was pretty great back in 2002 and even with nostalgia, I just genuinely felt the game was good. The story kept me engaged and got a tear from me with the ending, the gamreplay was functional, and the music was fantastic, what more could a kid ask for? My views more or less line up with yours where there was so much to like about the game then and still is now. One thing I gotta say though is that even though hub worlds were not included in the game, I feel like if they did have them, it would've emphasized the "adventure" feeling just like how it felt in SA1, at least in my opinion anyway. I mean, could you imagine if they made the Space Colony Ark a hub and you got to explore it and heck, they could've left ARK notes that gave more lore about the colony. I dunno, I just think that would've been awesome to explore haha.

My first Sonic game. I was blown away by the game speed, by that point i have never played a speed platformer, so i was absolutely captivated. Also, great lengthy review. The need to fill this with every fun fact about the game is a welcome one.

I can't really think of a top five because this album is just good all the way through. But I will say my number one is "Suzie Chapstick". When the album was announced and singles were being pumped out I was skeptical because of FOAM (I bought FOAM day one and haven't touched it since) but I liked some of the singles and figured I would give it a chance, then they announced those "Early Listen Parties" at some record shops and one of my local record shops was having one, so I went to that with my brothers wife who is a massive Green Day fan. Just about every song during the listen began to blend in with each other and while I did like them, none of them caught my ear more than "Suzie Chapstick" did. I'm a sucker for harmony (My all time favorite group is The Beach Boys) and that song just hit a spot I don't think green day had ever hit. I literally went crazy for the next few days trying to find the song I had heard until the album eventually released and I re-listened to it that night. While I'm bummed I won't be able to hear it live due to the setlist being played for the saviors tour (Still grateful for it, it's a fantastic set!) It still will be there in my top Green Day songs the next time I see them, so hopefully it gets some love next tour!
