Biomechanically this kind of wrong: what she describes makes your running less efficient. It basically forces you to put your foot in front of your center of gravity instead of putting it under it, meaning you loose momentum and need to generate it again by pulling your center of gravity forward over your foot, before actually being able to push forward again. Ideally you would want to "fall forwards" continuously, with your feet always being placed perfectly under the shifting center of gravity and push you further.

I'm so glad you used the word "bouncy". I started running for triathlon in 2019 and was taught to try to keep my stride "flat and efficient" and minimize bouncing, like you are floating across the road. I found that to try to do that, I mistakenly started keeping my hips down and stride short and rapid. Now i'm trying really hard to work on my hip mobility and open up my stride.

How is bouncy a good way to run? Although I agree that the ease with which is able to speak while she's running is her best pace of running
