I bet you were scratching and scraping three years ago when you made this video. The area is covered with poison ivy. Good video, but beware of plants with leaves of three.

Great project and a lot of useful information. Sad , you didn'' t show the epoxy glue package longer. Very tricky to see what it is actually is.

Really appreciated your tutorial. You captured the spirit of restoration very well... especially the 'do-over' part - so much experimentation until you get the desired result. I learned what I needed to know to move forward with my project. Many thanks!

The gilded glass window signage at the beginning was hands down my favorite... I guess you've learned to keep all your needed tools in the boot of the car so if you find a spot you're ready for treasure

What an enjoyable and instructive video. I am a bit "late to the party" (just now finding your channel & videos), but I am so pleased to have finally "arrived." I love blue and white china, and it is wonderful to see the sherds being used in such a beautiful way. Nicely done!

It is delightful to learn from you. You are very patient and easy to listen to. You have an amazing eye for color. I am eager to try this with a tiny glass vase that fell and broke on me.

Hello, I live in Kampen and happened to come across your video on you tube. Nice to see a part of your city in a different way. You were lucky, just a few months earlier the street had been broken up for a new sewer system. Then they also found a whole piece of the old city wall. the Archaeologists have been researching it for a long time.

Hi James. Any updates on your efforts repairing bottles? I've looked at "Ultraclear" & "Crystalclear", but they don't seem to offer the economical 2-part epoxy, syringe-style applicator. Really enjoyed your attention to detail in the video.

in regards to cleaning the bottles, id let them sit over night in a bucket of vinegar. rust and dirt will fall right off. even the rusty tools or metals, 24 to 48hours rust falls off with a simple scrub.

The Netherlands is full of this stuff. My mothers childhood back garden was full of it too. They had a farm. Many clay pipes from the 1600 and even Roman bits and bops and of course delftware tiles and pieces of other pottery and even a mammoth tooth.

The method with the wood glue is new to me, I will definitely use this. It looks so beautiful, I want to make something like this for my garden under the canopy. A tip from my father, I come from a family of furniture makers, rub some soap from a soap bar on the bottom of the drawers and they slide more smoothly, I do that myself. I think you also did that with the screws of the handles or did I see that wrong? Loved watching this.
