I post early and notice I didnt see a reply. Is Crappie not good down south? I live in the PNW and Black Crappue do well up here, but not sure if they are aggressive species and will hurt the bass.

I would plant sudan grass along the edges of the pond and above the pond and on the island. It helps with erosion and it is incredibly good at keeping weeds from growing

The turtle is common snapping turtle. Dangerous to the fish if you don’t dispose quick enough. I’ve seen them wrestle channel cats (around 3lbs) to the surface and eat them alive.

Habitat size plays a big role in growth rate and max size the fish can reach. I’ve been keeping fish for 20+ years. I’ve noticed when upgrading them to bigger tanks or ponds they grow, even if they haven’t grown in months or years!

This is truly a great video. I grew up watching my dad catch big bass from the bank, many at night. He was very quiet, used large lures and was more concerned about quality over quantity. Thanks for sharing!

Those tiger bass are definitely spawning. Here in Wisconsin, Theres a myth of bass needing to get to 14in average to be of age/size to spawn. Growing up fishing ponds and lake winnebago. I have seen bass and small as 7-8 in sitting and guarding spawn beds. As well as seeing small bass spawning.

@BamaBass I know how to make your Pond look as clear as a swimming pool!! You don't seem to have any cleaner shrimp in the pond, so If you stock your pond with Micro-Fauna like Daphnia and Moina Micropopa, they'll go after all of that phyto plankton floating around that's making it look green. I hope this helps! With a very generous stocking of these that whole pond will be crystal clear.

Absolutely you should go for a flight when the chance comes. That is a once in a lifetime opportunity 🙏👍👍… I went on the US base near the Holland Germany border. Got to fly the simulator for the F16 that the pilots use. The buttons and gauges are incomprehensible lol. I got to take it off and land it. Was amazing. Can’t wait to see your reaction to that flight 😂🙈🤠
