my people find it super nice when someone else wear our traditional outfits. It makes us happy to see other people are into it and wanna try it. I usually only see white americans with no heritage complaining about it when it comes to cultural appropriation. The people they “stand out for” usually dont mind either

It's hard to believe she was so inexperienced. Her performance on this show was amazing. She showed both the strength and the vulnerability of her character without going overboard. I think Janet was the character the audience most rooted for.
