One of my cats was diagnosed with asthma today. I put the inhaler next to his favourite blanket to let him get used to it. His favourite treat is freeze dried minnows. I'll do this trick to get him used to the mask.

People who comment that your cats always do everything so well may not realize that an animal that is accustomed to regular training "gets" that there's a process going on and knows rewards are available for just trying things, and they will "try" and "accomplish" what the particular thing is faster. Anyone can achieve the same level of eagerness to try from their pet by just training regularly😊

My two male cats (2.5 yo, castrated) play exactly like this. It is rough but there is no hissing and both initiate and they seem to take turns.

What about a cat who has zero interest in food / treats / gravy / wet food / etc. due to appetite problem? (And the medication she's refusing is an appetite stimulator.) 😪

I attempted to give a pill to my Siamese cat with a pill popper...he fought with me and almost tore my hand up...I could not open his mouth.. so I give him a pepperoni with the pill inside..only way.
