Why aren't you guys adjusting down the motor output? It sometimes really gives me anxiety to see you steer around 0-100 in these close rooms with so many possibilities to entangle with the cable 😅 also you probably will stirr up less debris and shit Besides that, really interesting videos! Would love to explore a cave system like that with my evo aswell 😛👌

When the entrance (and exit) of a cave is this tight my claustrophobia meter goes off-scale. I have a hard enough time just watching some of these videos.

9:10 i mean... the color wasn't there back then, not like this anyways. It's also entirely possible that the water didn't run there at the time. Now, it's a beacon, sure, but then it would've been quite possibly dry and colorless.

Great videos, I love the channel. Just for accuracy the minerals are carbonates and hydroxides, not sulphates.

in the 90's the 4wd group i belonged to would wheel at RingWood Manor, in NJ USA... Since then they (archaeologists) have discovered the best mud pit we'd wheel through was actually the entrance to mining/forging site from (i believe the 1700's or 1800's)... If I had known then what I know now I never would have drove through that mud pit....

I have been in this mine so many times, got some awesome photos of the wheel, and have always thought that a submersable would be a great idea to send down the sump. Great work guys.

Could the wood in a hypothetical false floor like this become calcified or otherwise mineralised, and if so how would that affect its structural integrity? On the one hand it would mean the wood hasn’t rotted away but on the other hand it would be extremely brittle and the wood would have lost its flex and internal structure 🤔 this is probably a dumb question lol sorry!

I'm going to bet on this: 1. they left one day and the level was flooded 2. there's loads of stuff down there stuck under the silt that we don't see. The level's basically untouched, pristine from the day they left. You can see all the items, undefined, you rarely see that much without it being a completely sealed mine that's never been touched.
