Hello Pelikan Parts, I have a question about the 90 amp vs 120 amp for the 2005 MK4 VW GTI 1.8T (Manual). My alternator has failed and I am shopping for one. I was wondering if it is ok to replace the original 90 amp with a 120 amp? Checking the website lists both of them compatible with my car. Car has aftermarket Xenon headlights which are flickering in idle with the current malfunctioning alternator, I was thinking maybe a 120 amp might help running the aftermarket headlights, in case they are causing more load to the electrical system. Thanks for the tips!
@pelicanparts19 сағат бұрын
Shouldn't do any harm The regulator will control the alternator as needed.

How do I know if I need the O2 sensor for cylinders 1-3 or 4-6? Is bank 1 cylinders 1-3 and bank 2 cylinders 4-6? Error code reads “Oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter, bank 2 - signal too low” and “…upstream …, bank 1 - signal too low”. Thanks for the video as well!

Could be a faulty trim clip or where the fasteners attach to.

I just did a BMW M240i cabin filter for a friend. What a PITA that was!! These two nuts under the dashboard, then two torx to get the filter cover available and then pop the two clips on the cover. This is under the dash pointed at the carpeting and ALL the way forward under there. Push the cover out of the way, pull the old filter out, then figure out which way the air is flowing, then bend the new filter to fit the curved filter holder and push in from underneath. Then the bottom cover of the filter and two torx, then two 10mm nuts to hold the dashboard lower cover. #$%^&*( Mercedes: pull the 10mm nut, remove the filter cover, replace the filter and put it back. Yep, BMW's suck!!
