So if r1 would be a mimic, no other box could be the mimic r2 says there is a mimic among the black boxes , that would make 3 mimics so no not you. 2b and 4b are booth saying the same, So if one would b the mimic booth had to a mimic, since booth are black. 1b tells us the right column has no mimic - which would be false if red would be a mimic, 3b tells us the upper row contains no mimic which can't if red is a mimic. So we now know r1 is save - but not if lying or not. And we now there must be at least one mimic among the black boxes ? ? S ? ? ? Let's assume 2b and 4b would tell the truth. Than 1b " the right most column contains no mimic" would also true. That would mean it i also telling the truth which mean we have to many mimics. Which means the last red box has to be the mimic r2 ? L SL ? L MT ( M mimic, L- lying, S -save) 1b tells us there is no mimic in the rightmost column - which we now know is incorrect due to rb being a mimic. So 1b is also save and 3b the least one has to be a mimic. it's statement would also be true. "there is no mimic in the top row" (pls note that I am not saying you should have solved the riddle in game or anything. I was only able to solve it because i can pause the video. btw I solved 4 more of them, not 3, you can only see 3, because you have to click on "newest first" to see the last one I think)

min 15 . 50 is also solvable. 1 2 3 4 5 6 We know black, 6 has to tell the truth, because it's the only black one. It can not be influenced lie by a another bock. But booth blue boxes say the same. so either booth a lying - impossible, or booth are telling the true. They can't be booth mimic because 6, the black one already told us the box above is not a mimic. So black and blue are save, ? ? ? ? S S now, we know the mimic most be a among the red ones, and we know 4 statement is correct "the box on the right isn't a mimic" -Thus it's a mimic. the box above 1 makes an incorrect statement " the box below is not a mimic - thus it's save. Which means no 2, the right red box has to be the other mimic. (and it's statement ( the box on the left isn't a mimic is also true)

17 The only red one says there is a mimic among the blue boxes, ( that has to be true) One of the blue ones says the same, middle bottom row. So it's a mimic. The blue box on it's left says " the bottom has at least on mimic. We know that to be true, so it's also a mimic. And we have our 2 mimics.

min 19 n. 30 is also solvable,You question - is the one who says " I am a mimic" a mimic was already the right start. . 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Let's assume it would tell the truth. That would mean the box "diagonal down left isn't a mimic " would be lying. Which means the other red box ( 5) would have to tell the truth and be a mimic. But this box there is a mimic among the blue ones. That would make 3 mimic, thus impossible. We now know there most be a mimic among to, that make the middle one lie. If it would 7, it's statement " Diagonal up right from me is a mimic most be true. But that the other red box, that says there is a mimic among the blue, - again three mimics. so that one also lies. 3 is the mimic. 6, one of the blue boxes says " there is a mimic among the blue boxes. This statement can not be false. If it would be false, another blue mimic would have brought it lie - which would make it statement true again. And we now it's a blue box that's telling true so it's a mimic.

And for the last one The only red ones tells us "there is no mimic among the black boxes " - it renders all statements from black boxes true run(!) But we can pause the video. Even if the red one is the mimic, at least one of the blue ones has to a mimic. booth upper row boxes tell the truth. "there is no mimic among the red boxes" - true . is a mimic among the blue boxes" true. Thus booth of them are mimics.

No idea why you skipped B21… B18 16:51 Since there are only 2 Mimics, lies can only come from at most 2 different colours of boxes. Furthermore, boxes that are the only ones of their colour must be telling the truth. The 3 boxes saying that there's a Mimic among the blue boxes must therefore be telling the truth. Suppose top left is lying. Then top right must be a Mimic. So bottom right must be telling the truth. But what of bottom left? If it's telling the truth, then either all 3 blue boxes are Mimics (there are only 2) or none of them are (which is a contradiction). Therefore, top left must be telling the truth. In fact, bottom left cannot be lying, as it must share the same colour as a Mimic, yet none of the other blue boxes can be Mimics. Therefore, it must be telling the truth, and at least one blue box is a Mimic. Since there are more blue boxes than Mimics, at least one blue box must be lying. That would be bottom right, the only box left. In other words, bottom left and bottom middle are the Mimics. So wie know blues are save and tell the truth We also know there has to be one mimic among the black ones, since there is only red. .1 2 3 4 5 .6 7 1 " there is no mimic among the black boxes" and 3 : "there is a mimic among the blue boxes" are booth lies. and are thus save to open. .S ? SS ? .S ? We also know that 5 - 7 who accuse each other of NOT being a mimic can't be right and be mimics, therefore one is one the other one is save. and thus red(2) is a mimic. So we still have 3 unsave boxes. And to be fair, Doing this the first time in my head, before you used the orb, I made a mistake and went with "Well they booth try to cover each other, so booth must be wrong and mimics. So I believed the red one was save. I would have been eaten.

One would have to tell the truth and we would have 3 mimics. So wie know booth blue ones are save and tell the truth ? ? S ? ? S Let's assume booth red ones would be mimics - we would have 4 Mimics, and black ones would have to be mimics too. Let's assume booth black ones would be mimics, 2a says the the bottom row contains no mimic, but the other black box is on the bottom row. So we know we have a mix bunch. 1b tells as there is no mimic among the blue boxes - which is true. it's the mimic. - 2b tells us, correctly that ab is a mimic, which means it's also telling the truth and with that, also a mimic. the riddle at 10 is doable. 1a 2a 3a 1b 2b 3b s - save, L lying , T truth, M mimic. We know we have at least 1 mimic among the blues - 3a and 2b contradict each other. We know the black one tells the truths regardless if it's a mimic or not. - due to the fact that it is alone. now, let's assume black would be a mimic, - that means the red one has to tell the truth. It's said that the box below would be a mimic. Which would be a problem, we would have 3 mimics. So we know the black one is save. (the black one, either 2a or 2b, and 1b ( below red) S S ? ? ? ? So let's assume 1a is lying. That would mean that 1b is lying too (since there has to be a mimic among the blues) - and it said "The box above me isn't a mimic - which means 1a would have to a mimic. But we know that's not possible. We now know that 1a tells the truth and is save. Which means all red boxes are save SS? T T ? ? ? S ? ?T booth mimics have to be among the blue ones. and 1a tells us it is 1b is one, and 3b tells uns 3a ISN'T one, which means 2b has to be one. SS L MMS Did I spend far to long this? - yes yes I did.

At 2:59 there actually isn’t a dilemma, or a reason to use your Blue Crystal. This is because of, as you previously mentioned, the self-reporting Black Chest/Box/Whatever. As you mentioned, since the top-left Red Chest agreed with them, they’re also innocent. However, you could also deduce that the top-middle Black Chest is a guilty Mimic: We know that the bottom right Black Chest is both telling the truth and not a Mimic, and that leaves just one option. With the top black chest as a confirmed Mimic, this leaves one Mimic among the three remaining chests. Fortunately, even though the only Blue Chest is being incredibly unhelpful (they ARE aware that’s what a Mimic would say too right?) the bottom-middle Red Chest is covering for them. The bottom-left Red Chest might claim that Blue Chest is a mimic, but it’s a two-versus-one with only one mimic at large, so it is clear the bottom left Red is a mimic. This video did still give me some insights, like how it is important to double-check your work at 4:18 and at 10:09 : at least to me it seems that missing out on a bit of loot from getting your math wrong is better then dying / eating up a powerful defensive resource against Mimics. It also showed off just how much more of a pain it seems dealing with even 2 mimics is compared to one. Haven’t played myself, but that seems to be the case just from the examples you gave and worked through. Other then editing out some mispronunciations at times like at 0:52 (forgivable at least to me since it shows how you, a presumably decent player, thinks during actual play of Mimic Logic, but some people are probably more upset/going to genuinely be mislead.), I would’ve liked to see you showing and discussing the Charm versus the Blue Crystal. I am aware a player of Mimic Logic probably won’t need to see a Mimic Charm to know what it does, but you could discuss for example if it is worth it to try to use a Charm like it is a Blue Crystal, since it allows you to save it if you win a 50/50 for example. Buying strategy was also interesting to listen to: In some other games a high enough “Offence” could be strong enough to trivialize most threats by defeating them before they can do anything. Since it seems you deal fixed damage with attacks like at 1:46 or 6:00 equal to your Attack stat, a discussion on breakpoints might’ve been nice, since certain Attack stats might take a lot to get to but not help very much since they actually can’t let you kill anything in less hits then before (13 attack versus 10 attack against enemies with 14 health, for example.) Though perhaps enemy HP is varied enough that most attack stat increases are worthwhile, or this is beyond the scope of your video. Despite the guts “timer”, your relatively calm commentary thorough marking of chests in the second half also showed that trying to maximize Guts saving isn’t worth it at all (or that it doesn’t go down while in a “Listen to Chests” menu.) Maybe you could’ve pointed this out, though again this might already be obvious to someone who plays Mimic Logic anyways.

At 23:00 the top blue box is not a mimic, as the bottom one contradicts it and is the same color The top left has to be true because for it to be incorrect means the box under it and the bottom right box would also have to be mimics making it 4 mimics out of three

18:00 Between boxes #8 and 9 there is 1 Mimic and between boxes #4 and 5 there is the 2nd Mimic; threrefore, because both boxes #1 and 3 are agreeing they both can't be Mimics (and you did open them) but then you left.😢 If the remaining red box #5: "There is no Mimic among the blue boxes." is truthful, it means all 3 red boxes are Mimics but that contradicts itself - so it's a Mimic. That makes box #9 truthful and box #8 the 2nd red Mimic. The last red Box #6 can't be a Mimic because that would make all 3 red boxes Mimics, so box #6 is truthful and that makes box #4 truthful and the last remaining box #2 the last Mimic.

At 14:50, there are 2 lies active: "Gold in Red box" (red chest) and "The bottom row has a mimic." (blue chest). Therefore, the red box stating "There is no mimic among the red boxes" must be telling the truth, as there is no room for a lie to be told, allowing the middle red chest to be opened freely.

I think you got your left and right mixed up at 1:40 I'm not sure why you immediately decided "The Rightmost Column has a Mimic" was safe to open when you evidently hadn't realized that the top row had no mimics yet

14:45 Box #7: "The leftmost column contains no Mimics." If this a MImic, that makes boxes #1 and 4 also Mimics making a total of 3 Mimics and thus *_all_* remaining boxes must be true. But Box #3 can't be true because it says: "The top row contains no Mimics." making 4 Mimics; threrefore, Box #7 must be true. This makes boxes #1 and 4 true and because their statements are true, box #6 is also true and Box #5 becomes a Mimic. Box #9 says: "The rightmost column contains is no Mimics." If this is true, no blue box would be a Mimic -which contradicts Box#6. That makes Box #9 the 2nd Mimic and Box #2 becomes true. Boxes #3 and 8 are undeterminable. 😢

because of the fact that there is too many boxes that say their rows have no mimics then the simplest thing to do is eliminate those boxes if box 9 is true then box 3 is true then box 1 is true and theres only two boxes left so its safe to assume box 9 is a mimic if only box 3 is true, then box 1,2,3,4,6,7 are true which makes 3 boxes remaining 5 that opposes 7 8 that opposes 2 the elimination of the too many defensive boxes which ended up being 9 the reason why i started at 9 was because it leads to the outcome with the most box usage i think thats the answer idk

@@betree6809 I like your method of getting the most box usage by rows. I try to do that too but I saw that there was a lot of boxes with the same color o I started there 1st. But your method was quicker in discovering the 1st Mimic. Very nice!

11:00 Box #7: "1 Mimic is hiding in a black box." If this is true, then black Box #1 is a Mimic. Both red boxes become Mimics because they both say: "The top row has no Mimics." Box #5 says: "Diagonal down left from me is a Mimic." which can't be true from original presumption, making 4 Mimics total which can't be true; therefore, Box #7 is a Mimic. That makes Box #1 and Box #5 true. This leaves 2 Mimics out of 4 boxes - 2 of which say the same thing; therefore, either both red boxes are true or both are Mimics. If both red boxes are true, that means box #4's statement of: "1 Mimic is hiding in a red box." means 'Exactly 1 mimic is hiding in a red box.' If both red boxes are Mimics, that means box #4's statement means 'At least 1 Mimic is hiding in a red box.' I think box #4's statement of: "1 Mimic is hiding in a red box." means 'Exactly 1 mimic is hiding in a red box.' making boxes #4 and 6 Mimics. Please let me know if that's what it means.

When playing Doubt a chest that is the only one of its color CANNOT LIE. It might be a mimic or non-mimic but it's always going to tell the truth. The initial puzzle should go, "Okay lone red chest says no mimics among black > open all three black chests in the first 2 seconds > Blue chest says "there is a mimic among blue", if there was no mimics among blue it woudn't be able to lie, and since there is a mimic among blue a blue chest telling the truth is a mimic > there's a blue chest saying a truthful statement that there are no mimics among black so that's also a mimic". 2 mimics found guaranteed nice and easy.

3 of the boxes all say: "There is no Mimic among the black boxes." You only have 2 Mimics maximum to find, so all 3 can't be Mimics, that's too many. All 3 are telling the truth. Since it's now true that all black boxes speak the truth, the rest of the black boxes are truthful. -That only leaves 2 boxes left and you need to find 2 mimics. The last 2 are Mimics.- 3 blue boxes remain. Box #5 : "There is a Mimic among the red boxes." is lying. Now that only leaves 2 boxes left and you need to find 2 mimics. The last 2 are Mimics.

I am not sure I understand you wrong or you have the. We know the statement is true, because we don't have 3 mimic that could make 3 different colour lie. ( also because the red one is the only red one) We don't know if they are telling the truth because there mimics or because there is no mimic of the same colour. ( accept for the black) However, we know from one of the blues, that one has to a mimic. So the blue "there is no black mimic" has to be a mimic. Also the blue ones, that tells there is a blue mimic is telling the truth, thus a mimic. Thus booth upper blue boxes are mimics.

20:45 Since we know that red box is safe, the black box pointing to it is definitely lying, which means there is 100% a mimic among black, hence the blue box on top is lying, thus there is a mimic among blue as well. There are only 2 blue so the bottom blue is a mimic, which tracks because its telling on itself. Black box in middle left is telling the truth, thus it is the second mimic.
