Cheer mate took a few trips to learn how I wanted it set up, still a bit to go and a few more ideas I like to keep everything neat and have everything have its place, so when shit gets hectic myself and crew know where everything is so we can act fast !! I think blue marlin fishing instilled this in me 🤣

Cheers mate For me the trout first by far, it’s my favourite eating fish We didn’t really rate the nannygai this trip, we ate it fresh and it wasn’t that great, even a lot of the fillets didn’t look the best either Breaksea cod, the local coral trout of Perth !! Great eating

Ahh glad the fillets went to use mate, what a spot !!! To be honest for bottom fishing I haven’t found tides playing too much of a part there, we plan a lot of pelagic fishing around tides but the bottom fishing I feel you can get bit any time, tide changes help, but they seem to chew anytime ! Hope you have a good trip mate, and the weather gods play the part !!

Cheers mate yeah I love fuel consumption and working out how far we can push it, I like adding it in so it helps others I’m torn on the tides, the big tides are hard work with anchoring boats and with diving but we seem to get more fish on the big tides, even diving Seems like we’re always waiting and getting excited for neaps but when they come we think back that the spring tides were better for us

@@WCSwestcoastsalt caught a couple good size GTs, decent Spaniards, coral trout, red emps and a heap of rankin, old mate even got a 75cm blue bone on a placcy of all things. Was a good haul!

Yeah place is loaded with rankin hey, mm the g’s were pretty quiet when we went, didn’t wana eat !

@@WCSwestcoastsaltthey seemed to love the 40g halco slydogs the dsy we went!

Ahh nice Yeah the small ones we got to bite but the bigger models wouldn’t eat much
