Behind The Horizon made me think of Unreal World. Graphically that is. Gameplay wise it's a full on survival simulator from the early 90's, so not really a farming game, although I believe it has farming in it. The nature simulation in that goes pretty hard.

Not sure why you feel like mining is a grind? It is roughly the same as in MTAP but now has "ore rocks" or whatever they are called too. So far I haven't had any issues at all finding the resources needed. The game starts off a bit slow and limits you in where to go. To me that is a bit annoying, but eventually the whole world will open up to you and you can find all the resources you need if you remember where they can be found. I agree with the farming mechanics. They are a bit clunky and can definitely improve. They use a "grid" system but then don' t let your tools make smart use of that grid system. A bit strange but probably easy to patch. What I like most about this game is the fact that it is not fully focused on farming like many other sims like this. The exploring, building and story take up much more of my time. Farming is basically just a side thingy I sometimes do so I can make food for stamina. The limited water actually adds a nice challenge to it if you ask me. If you're smart, you will have plenty of water. The combat system is also a bit hit or miss for me. When the auto lock system works nice... when it works. That is to say it doesn't always work for some odd reason. When shooting a gun there is no form of auto aim at all which is definitely rough. All in all a fantastic game indeed!

Very nice review. You convinced me to buy this. Grabbing it on the current Steam Sale for almost nothing (2,3 euro). I also have to say that your review was much better than the one Nintendo World Report TV put up, and they have 87400 subscribers and over 369.000 views on their review, so big numbers doesn't always mean better quality, it just means they got lucky with their marketing. One can also see it like this: Keep this up and your channel is bound to grow in numbers, because your review was better and quality attracts followers. At least I hope it does, and now you've got one more subscriber.

Okay, this is not really what I expected after looking at the eShop page (which has no videos). I thought it was more like just a cozy farming sim, I had no idea it was a huge open world exploration game. For $5.99 it looks like a steal.

Ive been putting off getting Fae Farm for so long because the price is crazy- Its finally on sale for once so its like 26.79 USD so Was finally going to get it- but now seeing your review im not sure now lol. Maybe I'll look for another game.

There are 2 spells for fast travel! MARK and RETURN. Use example 1: Cast 'MARK' your location where you are anywhere in the world (no interiors, you must be outside - just like Skyrim), use scroll to fast travel to the city, or miriad tower (stock up these scrolls, they are not heavy). Cast 'RETURN' to return to your MARKed location. Use case 2: MARK place in the city (for me it is usually marketplace, you can fast travel over encumbered), use scroll to fast travel to miriad tower in the world, horse ride to a specific place (usually not longer than 3 minutes), RETURN with loot and sell/store straight away. How easy!

Does it have the ability to be charged with the joiner with a single usb-c? I saw that each one has a Usb-c port but sometimes the joiner comes with a Usb-c too
