There is no such thing as ECG sync, and Samsung has no plans to sync, you'll export your ECG data manually and from companion, there is ECG Excel to PDF...

There is ECG sync, never was... But I implemented the shortcut ECG tile enabler, and I even built a website that would convert your ECG excel files into PDF files... You'll find everything in the shm mod companion...

There is no ECG sync and never was... only BP syncs to cloud... if you're talking about ECG tile in Samsung health, that's a shortcut to open SHM - ECG tab, no more nor less and Samsung have removed it in recent update... As for G7 sync, that's mainly at hands of Samsung and the company that made your G7 device whether they added Samsung Health SDK or not and whether Samsung accepts data from such accessory...

@@XDA-Dante63 Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, I guess I was talking about that shortcut and it is still working. Samsung never updated mine yet. Ironically, I have both SHM and the SHM Mod as well. So when I go to Samsung Health on my phone it has the BP sync and when I push ECG it takes me to the original SHM with the ECG numbers I got in the tile on the watch or the original SHM. But the SHM Mod has the numbers gotten from only the Mod. The main question I am confused about is why doesn't the Samsung Health have BP and other items on the watch. I hit manage and it takes me to the phone and I know I have enabled it to look like what I have on the phone, but it won't. As I am typing this, I am actually wondering if this is the feature that you are saying Samsung disabled. If so, then why even include the Samsung Health app? It's primarily exercise, water and food I guess. The only health related stuff stored really on the watch is HR, but primarily sleep study items. Is there anyway to adjust the shortcut to goto the Mod instead of the original SHM? If not, no big deal. Just happy that at least the BP finally works even though it's not stored on the watch. Sorry for the delay, youtube decided to hold your comment and I check those once in a while, not always... Samsung Health app is very crowded and hard to alter to add new things that may become heavy on the app (it the future) alongside other factors of using different encryption/decryption, so Samsung assigned a new team to build it as a standalone and sync BP to it.... Samsung health ECG shortcut is hard-coded to call original SHM... Samsung health has everything but ECG, it has BP for manual entry only and this is where BP data comes from SHM MOD... If you're using shm mod, you don't need stock shm... If you didn't get update, check for updates manually (search for Samsung health) you should see update, after updating, make sure setfeatures are still enabled and configured because some updates tend to reset everything back to original values and sync stops... Also, I don't now what 5g3 is, a phone...?

No worries on getting back to me. I appreciate your help! Unfortunately, have issues typing and don’t really remember what that last comment was. Bottom line is I know that Samsung Health is both on the phone and the watch. I know you can customize what is listed on the main menu of both. As a matter of fact, when you want to change the items that are listed on the watch it directs you to your phone. And just as a test I changed some items and everything was either added (if I added items) or deleted (if I deleted items). However, there are 3 items that won’t get listed on Samsung Health on my watch that are listed on my phone’s Samsung Health. You explained ECG and blood glucose. The main item that I am surprised I can’t see in Samsung Health only on the watch’s Samsung Health app because it is listed on my phone’s Samsungs Health is the Blood Pressure. I thought did everything right and I am happy I have the scores in SH and SHM on my phone. I would just like to see it on SH on the watch and I didn’t know if it was something I did wrong, if there was a way to get it there, or if it’s just not possible (which may actually be the answer). I hope this clarifies my question. I know this is not you area, but it really stinks that the Dexcom G6 was able to send the blood glucose scores to SH, but not the Dexcom G7. I’m still hoping they eventually add that capability. Once again, I thank you so much for your help. Oh, there was 1 more comment that you mentioned about an update. Was there a specific update that you were referring to? I know there was an update that Samsung sent and it’s all still working well. At least it looks like it.

No root required, the folder is created in the downloads directory, but if you have external & internal Storage, the main directory is used...

Wrong video to comment at but no worries, If you have installed the watch shm mod and phone shm mod and the watch shm mod can open the phone shm mod... Have you restarted the phone and watch?

@@XDA-Dante63 I am not sure. Perhaps it does, but most of it is way over my head. I basically am unable to move the toggle in SHM for permissions to 'on' position. I have found numerous videos, probably inspired by yours, where they show this step and are able to change it to on position, but it won't move in my SHM. I have tried reloading it few times, but doesn't seem to make much difference.

In the past, long time ago, people would sideload BP & ECG individually but Samsung decided to use BP package name to bind SHM to it... meaning if you try to install BP, it will fail... Those files are deprecated and not recommended for use since last update goes back to 2020... You'll need pc to do it but I will help you through it remotely, just reach me on my social media... Also, it's active2 or Watch3 or newer watches, if she has the active, I strongly encourage you to get watch4 (if you don't want the latest) because you don't need a pc with WearOS watches...

@@XDA-Dante63 Thank you for offering. I actually thought I was going to take you up on your offer. I tried myself and kept getting and error over and over again. The I gave 1 more idea a try that I thought might have been an issue when I followed the instructions. Surprise, surprise….I did it! And boy is that a lot harder to do on the Active 2 than my watch!!! Actually, speaking about my watch (I have the 5) I had a question regarding Samsung Health. I have everything working correctly on my phone. However, I can’t get the main menu on Samsung Health to look exactly like the phone. I go onto the watch and hit Manage Items which takes me to the phone app. Sure enough I have all the items I want enabled, yet when I go to the watch I don’t see Blood Glucose, Blood Pressure, ECG (which I know why now because you told me it’s just a link, and sleep looks somewhat different (but haven’t really used it) and lastly the watch has together (finally noticed together at the bottom of the phone as opposed like the others). The latter items don’t really bother me I just wanted to be specific as possible in case it matters. It’s the first 2 (BG & BP). Its not that the numbers aren’t there, it’s that there is nothing at all. On the phone I have those in order as the first 2 and then heart rate. Sure enough the watch starts at heart rate. Is this what it’s supposed to be? Or is there something else I can do? Lastly. I don’t know if this has a bearing, but if not I would love to know what it is and do I need it. And that is this thing called Health Connect…..like I said could that be the issue (which I doubt) and again if not what is it and should I enable it? Thanks again for all your help!

@Scott phone Samsung Health has more things for manual entry, watch is too small to type in it, hence the no ecg, BP or glucose interfaces... Health connect is an SDK from Samsung used as a bridge between Samsung Health and other apps or devices, in other words, and if I'm not mistaken, it connects the watch with wearable devices like fitness trackers, glucose monitors and others to synchronize and aggregate data for a more holistic view of the user's health and fitness activities... The BP and ECG are inside SHM... Glucose would be an app of the device you use (if avaliable)... The ordering, I am not so sure whether Samsung has put things in certain order and cannot be changed but they have such thing of being annoying to users lol...

@@XDA-Dante63 I appreciate you getting back to me and understand everything except SH on phone vs on watch. When you open SH on watch it there is a tab that says Manage Items and when you press it, it take you to SH on your phone. That’s where you have an option to add things, take aways tabs, and re-arrange the order of the items as well. I specifically tried to add items and they showed up on the watch immediately. I then tried to change the order and sure enough the order changed on the watch. So, it definitely seems like that is the spot to change things and everything will change……except the BP, BG, and ECG (which I understand this one now that you explained it in more detail). I am just surprised why the other 2 (BP & BG) tabs won’t show because everything else syncs and shows and can be re-arranged in any order I want. The only thought I had, primarily in regards to the BP, is I know we had to “set features” on the SH on the phone. I am assuming that most likely is the issue for that not to be there…..again not certain. I use a Dexcom machine and do have my sugar in other places. I am not trying to be a pain….I am just trying to get everything in 1 spot. Unfortunately several years ago, I got rushed to the hospital and was given a 5% chance of survival…. Obviously I survived! But left with lots of health issues and seeing lots of doctors. So having all of my information in 1 place would be great……unfortunately with the G7, Dexcom took away the compatibility with SH, but I still have all of my data when I was on the G6 (still hoping that the G7 is coming soon, I hope). Like I said not as important with that right now. Is there a way that we can “set features” on the SH app? I also wanted to thank you…..still have no idea how I was able to get that stuff working on that old Active 2 as well, but did. Lastly, was curious if people leave Heart Rate on continuous? I am trying to find a recommendation. I noticed some other features that were recommended to keep on and others that were recommended to shut off because the battery drain is too much. However, I do have the Pro version (open box too good of a deal to pass up) which I know has the bigger battery, if that matters. Looking to hearing back. Thanks!

install the companion, written instructions with photos inside... Unless you want the whole thing manual without installing companion...? the video only explains two parts, enabling setfeatures... then configuring setfeatures...

I can only assist you with shm, install the shm mod companion to have latest apps... and there was never an ECG sync from Samsung...

If you're talking about your health data, that is gone completely, replaced by dummy data, you can try opening ticket with Samsung... Right now, I'm using latest Samsung Health from playstore 6.26.2.003 with no data, starting from scratch...

@MiuiX that would be a question for Samsung, long time ago I asked Samsung, and I'm talking back when SHM first launched in 2020, they responded "we're working on making ECG data sync", it's 2023, still nothing about ECG sync 🤷‍♂️...
