this is how you ruin your differentials and transmission on an FJ cruiser. if the water level is to your feet inside the car and it's stock, you just broke it.

You forgot to mention that you need a gas station behind you cause you can only go maybe 180 miles on a full tank

Exactly. I love the FJ but there was no way I was paying those inflated prices from a few years ago. What's funny is there's still a few guys who didn't get the memo -- still asking mid 50s LOL

The three wipers are different sizes and the windshield is short and thin to allow for the "roll cage" inside the body that helps give us a better chance in a rollover.

I've been looking at these for the past week or so,. I can get a set right now for for $804. I think I'm going to purchase them online today. I use a studded tires in the winter here in NB so I'm not worried about winter performance. I didn't realize until recently they were made by Cooper. Before going with a set of Hakkapeliitta 10 SUV studded this winter I ran Cooper Discoverer M+S, also studded, and since they discontinued those and the replacement had terrible reviews I went with what was supposed to be one of the best according to the ratings, all I can say is the Nokians were a massive letdown when compared to the old Coopers. I always said my 4Runner with the studded Coopers was an unstoppable tank, I hardly ever needed to use 4wd and about the only way you'd run into problems was if the snow was so deep you just couldn't push through it. The Hakkas on the other hand? I experienced more wheel spin, in 2wd and 4wd, then I have ever experienced in my years of driving 4Runners. Needless to say, I'm a big fan of certain Coopers.

I am glad i found your video. The FJ is a strong consideration for me. You gave me a lot to look at pertaining to this vehicle. Thank you for the information!
@Noice.T2 ай бұрын
Summary of the video, when not modding or lifting the FJ, typically the main issues that could go wrong is brake calipers seizing and transmission shake (usually fixed with a fluid drain and refill). Napa has a lifetime warranty on their calipers, just make sure you hang onto the receipt. For the transmission it is better to drain and refill bit more frequently so you possibly won’t run into the issue.
