The Hisense regarding contrast is MILES better, every scene is just way deeper vs the gray and haziness of those same darker areas on the Sony. The Sony does look more natural though, the Hisense seems to be far more green across all the reviews.

The processing looks good on the Sony, but the inter scene contrast is far better on the Hisense. I know people report more bugs and jankyness with the Hisense so It's probably a more stable experience on the Sony.

I just finished watching a Hisense u8k vs u8n comparison. For some reason, the 8K comparison clips weren't as good as the 7k here (most). Actually, the clips here seemed to be moved over for the 8n. Now I'm confused about which model I should choose. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Why is no one buying/reviewing this TV? I'm very interested in buying the 65" version of this TV. But I can't find any buyer reviews.

They will always say it’s in par or better than the older model. This is basically a80L renamed. It’s marketing, only sheeps would think this is any better than a80L or even a95L.

Would be nice to know what was being watched, for how long, and how bright. I use my new OLED for movies and light streaming viewing, with gaming once a week for no longer than 4 hours. Varied content... Be interesting to know out of the people getting burn-in, their type of usage (I wouldn't recommend watching any normal tv like news) ... compared to how much they spend on the TV (model) etc. ... Information out there is sporadic, with no dedicated reporting.

A80L is better for my standards in raport with specular highlights / atmosphere in movie / processing. I had s90d for 1 week in living and i returned today. I will buy Bravia 8 which is 15% brighter than A80L

I wish I bought the cheaper mini led over the x90L 85 but I'm still pretty happy with the Sony look. It's just so 3d, perfect color and clarity excellence sometimes.

Hello Brian 🤘🏼 My first year not test TVs since 2015 and busy year with moving country, sort court case with my daughter which was taken away in 2010 being denied dna for 13 years, yes, pretty long and fucked up story belonging in a book or movie. But too the point as we had some nice discussions in past and I love your content as I always say. I am going tomorrow look at TVs (live now in Brazil) and I been a little torn about S90C as I don’t know the firmware and how the S90/95D is in Brazil concerning qd oled. Samsung support could not give my fiancé an answer if it was qd oled or woled which is important for me after over 13000 hours use on S95B without the slightest image retention and looked like day 1 when I gave it too my brother, honestly would love to keep it but hard travel the world with. 😊 I am a gamer but will be used a little more with series now but gaming been my area pretty much through life give and take when I messed around in my youth. 😊 I know roughly the chance of problems with OCB but willing to do that as it be bad luck and can be sorted. This year for first time I’m a little off with 2024 TVs so I will ask you what you recommend? I know camera ding show full truth so I need to go with what your opinion is if you manage see the message. You think the S90C is a risk get 14xx firmware? Do you think S95D is a better buy in general for my use? I got a rather boring eye when it comes to screens and gaming, it looks nice in dim room as well bright? How you think it compares too S95B/S90C in dim and light? Almost convinced myself with S90C but firmware and buy tv so late is a gamble I never done and now with 14xx a little worried. Is S95D universal qd oled as far you know? Sorry for so many questions, just keep it short if you got the time to answer, just don’t want to mess up. So much money blown on the moving and yesterday needed a plumber and toilet which was not in calculation. 🤣 Looking for a 65” by the way this year until we sorted all things we need. Thanks brother, hope all is well and I keep watch some more videos so I catch up on your work. 🙏

Would a 90's movie, say Jurassic Park or Terminator 2, be considered "low bitrate" content? I hear Samsung isn't great at low bitrate, but then this tv was well reviewed for it's upscaling ability. Someone help me out here because I am confused.

Financially speaking, unless Black Friday sales are stellar, I think the best I could do to replace my year-and-a-half old 50" LG QNED would be a 65" model. One thing I want is Dolby Vision, which would rule out anything from Samsung, but I've never had an OLED TV and would like to get one. The A95L is so pricy, though I may not be able to get one, although it would be my choice at the moment. I'd put the 50" somewhere else , though...NOT get rid of it.

I actually prefer the A80L , don't like the pinkish tint on the S90D or any of the QD-OLED's.

Do you mind sharing what settings you use for each pre-set? May also be a good idea for a video to show what settings you use for each pre-set.

For years I only bought the big brands $2000+ tv's and my last few purchases have been more of the budget brands decent sets in the $800 or less range. Honestly for my use I cannot justify the much higher cost of the big boys when compared to the performance the more budget options offer these days. Really interested I think in the 65" U7K Hisense for my next tv to replace a Vizio 55" m series quantum from about 5 years ago.

Sony probably better at motion n upscaling. However, I'm very drawn to the highlights of the Samsung. I know the camera can't pick up all the highlight details, so I'd assume areas That look pure white on camera and overexposed, is due to the camera. I just can't say id prefer the Sony, simply due to the wow factor of highlights the Samsung gives

It is so hard to decide, I still use a 42 inch LED TV and I feel it should be time to get a big TV. But prices in China are so different from the rest of the world it seems. I'm still deciding to buy one this year or next year... but here are the current prices, based on that, what should be a best buy in price/performance. I will convert prices into EURO. The 77 inch G4 goes for 7100 EURO. That one is actually absurd, way over my budget. The 77 inch S90D in China is NOT a QD OLED, so let's ignore that one. The 77 inch S95D goes for 2950 EURO. The Bravia 8 77 inch goes for 3500 EURO. The 83 inch A80L goes for 3500 EURO. Funny how the Bravia 8 77 inch and 83A80L are similar priced. And let us bring the mini led shall we: The Bravia 9 85 inch goes for 4200 EURO. The TCL X11H (the real flagship over the QM851G) goes now for 2600 EURO. My living room is very easy to light control, we have one big window and it is on the East Side, so when it is TV time, sun is long gone and all our lights are in the ceiling, so no direct light into the TV.
