I get this video is six years ago but now in 2024 you can pick these up all day long for $15,000 or 30,000 depending how the miles are. And people scoop these up because of the tuning potential. It is a big Mercedes but man these things are rocket ships the guy who owns it needs to chill out and just let them enjoy it.

I would have appreciated a step-by-step off and on process presentation, but only got bits and pieces of the process. You left out a number of steps.

Yeah sorry I was like 18 at the time and knew next to nothing about cars so don’t expect a full corporate walkthrough of how to install. It’s relatively easy though honestly. The steps in the video are more than enough to do it yourself as the install is very rudimentary. All you have to do is disconnect the connector for the DRLs on either side, remove the grille, undo the upper bracket that clamps down on the top of the headlights and wiggle them out. Reverse those instructions for install and you’re good to go. That’s basically it lol

@@sergeant_hartmann1339 that is not heavy for a modern sports car lol. Most modern sports cars are around 4,000 lbs on average or more. Also the 8S TTRS has an aluminum engine block and magnetic suspension to cut down on forward weight and eliminate understeer seen in the previous 8J TTRS 👍🏻

Hello. I got one 2014 passat estate, but the mounts are different. There is a screw underneath. It means, i will need to remove all bumper off. :/

Yeah dude these won’t fit anything newer than 2013. The newer models are such a pain in the ass to work on. The bolts for the headlight mounting bracket are underneath the bumper. Insanity

I have a 2013 Passat 2.5L inline 5 with automatic 09G transmission. I would love to tune my car and get more out of the engine. Love the sound that yours is making. I know mine doesn't support the intake manifold from IE. Did you go stage 2 without the manifold? Does it perform okay without the manifold because I thought that was required? Should i just go stage 1 ECU and TCU tuning? I have an AFE cold air intake installed in my car and am planning on putting in a new magnaflow exhaust. Would a stage 1 ECU along with the TCU tune see a good amount of performance gains? I looked around for the Audi TTRS crankshaft pulley but I am unsure which one is the correct part. By any chance, do you have a part number for that or a link to the part? I found one that fits the 2018-2021 TT RS with a 2.5L engine for $560.

Yo I just saw this so sorry. The tune without the manifold is great. Just runs a tad bit lean that’s it. Just get a VIN from a used TTRS 8J and tell audi that vin is your TTRS and that you need a crank pulley for it. They’ll order it for you. Performance and reliability is wonderful with this tune. 150,000 miles and still going strong 💪

Hey man, what year is your b7? I have a 2013 b7 2.5l 5cyl automatic trans, and have done stage 1 ecu tune with IE, however when I went to do the tcu tune I reached out to integrated engineering to make sure it was compatible with my transmission and they said more likely than not it wouldnt work for my car😔 any guidance would be highly appreciated!

Bruh whoever at IE said the AQ250 TCU tune was incompatible with your car is a BOZO. The AQ250 is designed for all 07K 2.5 cars with the 09G automatic 6 speed.
