I love your guide and use it for book shopping when I'm out. Very excited for your planning video. I would love to know how you pair down I'm always doing too much and also have a hard time gauging how to challenge and not frustrate my kids. On another note, I've recently heard about a new curriculum that uses John senior's booklist called the Children's tradition and I was wondering your thoughts on the different education philosophies out there.

The Lord knew I needed this right now! I’ve been asking around on what to do for my child who needs third grade material since we can’t afford curriculum for now. I’ve been on your website some but I haven’t heard of all of these so thank you! Thank you for all your generosity, it’s truly a blessing! Please will you do another for upper elementary? This child I’ve been talking about can do a grade level in six months, reads whole big chapter books in a day, at most a week, and loves to learn all things! This child is extremely curious about everything so there is lots of questions and rabbit trails happening daily. It’s a lot to keep up with but I’m doing all I can to help her with the Lord helping me 😂

I've been so impressed by Heritage History. I print their books the same way as you, but use 2-hole punch prongs for the binding. Super fast and easy. Thank you for all of your free resources and recommendations! I have used almost all of them.

I use all of your freebies. I am so thankful that you have made so much available to us for free, and I also do the composition books too. Thank you for sharing how to homeschool for cheap or free. Without it, some of us may not have been able to afford to homeschool. God Bless your lovely soul.

You have been such and inspiration and blessing to the home education community. A modern day pioneer of simplicity and strength in teaching our children even with tight budgets. Personally, I have found the best curriculums have been old time programs that were popular forever ago. A First Year in Number, Primary and Intermediate Language Lessons, McGuffey readers and so much more!

@@katie7748 I say that now because they are toddlers…. I tried googling what you are referring to and can’t find anything wrong about calling an infant and a 2 year old”littles” can you tell me where to look? I don’t call them little to their face, I just use this term when typing about them as it explains they aren’t yet “school” age

Thank you I just found your channel in preparation for our second official homeschooling year, this year with my 6yo & 5yo (3yo & 1yo in tow) and I just want to thank you for being the wise Titus 2 woman. I do not have anyone in my church currently who is a former homeschooling mama and can speak into my life in that way,, so I am glad I found you!

Thank you so much for this. We are currently walking through heartache with one of our adult children. She no longer believes anything she was taught. She is not a believer. We’ve had a decent relationship, but just this week we’ve had to make the difficult decision to not have her be in our lives for now. Please pray for us, but most importantly pray for her salvation. Trusting Jesus is sometimes so hard. ❤ Her name is Christine. Thank you.

Thank you!! I agree .. i met a young woman afraid to have kids because she might mess them up ... I believe that is not the case because good kids come from bad families and bad kids come from good families....it is not the fault of the family it is the choice of the individual

Thank you, thank you! Freeing and encouraging. As our children grow and become accountable for themselves, we fight for them on our knees and give them to the One Who can guide their steps. We plant the seeds, He gives the increase. I deeply appreciate the time that you give to these videos in an effort to teach what is good. Today, I did my laundry and learned from a wise, godly, faithful Titus 2 woman. Bless you, Sherry!

Thank you again for another encouraging talk. I had one thought...if it is required to have your children under control to be an elder, it still feels like we bear responsibility in how our children turn out. I do believe we are responsible to train them, but can't control how their hearts will respond to the gospel. But if someone has a rebellious child, does that mean they need to step down from the ministry even though we are not punished for their sins? I don't know if that was clear, but just a thought it was grappling with and wondered about your thoughts. Thanks.❤❤❤

Great question. It occurs to me that the story of the minister with the wayward son answers it. The father did have control of his household because he did not allow his son to live under his roof and be operating in sin. This did not disqualify him as a minister of the Lord. If he had been allowing his son to operate this way while under his roof, that would be the violation and the evidence that he did not have control of his own household.

Have you ever written any devotionals, Sherry? When you were reading your notes I was thinking how they sounded like a devotional. If you did, I'm sure it'd be valuable to many of us on this similar path. Also, I so loved this video! I've been really seeing the value in aprons lately, and also seeking Jesus on the topic of better time/house hold management. This video and a few previous ones have been a really good help for me in those areas. Thanks again for sharing your blessed wisdom and just your lovely self with us all 💖
