First time in a decade i feel like we are moving in the right direction. Serious talent coming through the academy, actual competent people behind the scenes making football decisions. ruud back in the building playing gd cop, Erik authoritarian father figure like fergie. I really hope we see something like kiddos and fergies relationship. Serious talent in nacho, Martinez, mainoo, bruno. Looking forward to see what new deff does. New lads hitting the ground running. Nobody should get carried away and were gunna see ldn based media slabber the whole way but im quietly confident we'll be giving people problems this season.

People in football literally take the most recent bits and go with it. We all do it. Ten hags first year, finish 3rd, win a cup, play really well. Manchester United fans next year: we are winning the league Year after, man united are really bad, still win a cup but performances and league finish are abysmal Rival fans next year: United will never recover as a club and are guaranteed mid table. If you look at his entire tenure he’s had a great season and a really bad one, but United have had issues for years through multiple managers that bad season was always on the cards. It’s a big season for Ten Hag, and I don’t think we are going to win the league at all, i think we are 3 windows off that, what we are those is a solid cup team and will be pushing for top 4.

I see the zirkzee signing very strategic. Zirkzee and Hojlund are two diffrent kind of players which would help tweaking the attack according to the game. Straight forward counter attacking option with rashford hojlund garnacho. More technical forward combination of may be sancho zirkzee amad or mix of both. I think that'll tactically benefit MU in attack if ugarte comes in MU will have a great squad

It’s the opening game. You’ve got to be happy with 3 points and certainly compared to Fulham at home last season, which was hideous, this was decent. United probably should have scored 2-3 by 60 mins in. There was a dicey period 2nd half because United didn’t score but they rebounded well, Zirkzee bagged one; Garnacho should have scored. Xg was 2.5 - 0.6 or something similar. And there are STILL big players missing and more to come in. We ain’t winning the league but, yeah, as the man says ^^ ~ don’t sleep on us either.

Yesterday I saw 3 key things: - mount grew into the game, and looked like him of old towards the end. - the pressing by the attacking players was great. - everyone else doesn’t give Man Utd a chance, which takes a little pressure off.

No one’s underrating them they played against Fulham at home and scraped a 1 nil win.

Dalot and Martinez kept Traore quiet, essentially blunting Fullham's biggest threat. Mazraouie was our standout performer. Fullham controlled the first 20 minutes but Man Utd dominated the game. Ten Hag did admit the team wasn't ready due to lack of preseason training for, especially, the new recruits. Losing Yoro and Hjolundt to injuries was bad but we can be happy with our squad depth atm. Ugarte is a must. I really hope they do get Amrabat; he knows Ten Hag's system.

looking at the game yesterday i felt like we needed a ball playing dm more than a destroyer like ugarte. the way we are trying to play which is quickly transitioning from defence to attack, a ball playing dm like zubimendi will suit more than ugarte. i know zubimendi isn't available but there could be many more in market of similar ilk.

We can see what the team is trying to do. The pressing structure, the build-up, the link up etc. It will be more consistent when we play some games and the players understand their roles perfectly. It is going to be an exciting season.
