This is the second place... to AOT. This is pretty much the GOAT of grim dark Japanese fantasy. AOT is maybe top 10, this is #1. 30 years of history, with the greatest protagonist is anime or manga history. And this is a pretty amazing track. It's the track for the greatest struggler in mythology, and it's a soft, somber piece, with bits of wailing, chaotic beauty. It encapsulates what makes Guts who he is.

i actually really preferred david levy's stuff over Andrew's music. due to how repetitive andrew's stuff sounded. the battle of immora theme with all the vocals is my favorite from david, and has a very epic feel to it, and is actually one of my favorite tracks. real shame no OFFICAL soundtrack for anything was released, other than the one where gordon mix liked 20% of it. This new trailer music feels a little generic until he enters the mech suit, where it sounds like there's some form of vocals, hopefully it has quite a bit of that, as that will fit this theme pretty will.

Hey Atlas, I don't know if you have figured it out yet, but you should be using the phyisic flask, since it replenishes when you die or rest, and it's an extra heal. Edit: Never mind, you did use it in the end. However, you should know you can jump to avoid attacks such as Godrick's aoe. Nice fight though.

This theme gets a lot darker when compounded by it having a motif from an another track called “Out of Kindness” Which by the title alone is duplicitous, meaning either Maruki does what he does in the story (no spoilers) truly out of Kindness, wanting to make the world a better place, or he is OUT of kindness, he has no more to give, he’ll make the world a “better place” by force if needed Fantastic tracks

the song hits differently when you actually hear it for the first time in the game. You were in a ship wreck and the sound of the waves hitting the sand and the camera shows the coastline, this is all happening while the very beginning of this song is playing, and the main character Adol wakes up from unconsciousness and starts running around right around when the song opens up.

my fave part of the song is towards the end when the lyrical/opera vocals get louder and louder as the hip hop is muffled and seems like its going to be drowned out by it, when it just then joins and starts to slowly overpower the lyrical/opera vocals. it truly represents the whole show and how team Gurren, no matter the threat or how grave the situation, come out and through, screaming "who do the hell do you think we are"
