Really impressed with your work, especially out of a shed... but who am i kidding most the best things we ever built came out of little sheds... apart from materials, what's the biggest cost investment for doing this is it a oven and a vacuum pump?..

Possible, but would not be a smooth finish like gel coat and probably wouldn't take the temperature needed to cure the part.

love your channel. I just bought the new Flex PE80 hand polisher. Might check it out. it has a 90 degree head and also 1" onions for polishing. I seen many rave about it and they are right. Polishing my carbon on my motorcycle you can get into tight spots so easy and holding it way easier than the drill I had. Keep up the fabulous work!!!!

Hi sir! Can you sand prepreg carbon cloth ? For example if I wanna paint the 3D lettering on emblem badge and sand areas where paint is not needed? Hope this makes sense. Then obviously clean / clear once sanded. Hope you reply or someone that knows does. Thank you

how do you find the durability of the mould sealer on composite moulds? also im having issues with print through on tooling pre preg moulds cured in autoclave at 120 degrees C at 5 bar. tried post curing at various temps up to 135, didnt work, im thinking maybe the stoichiometry of the tooling pre preg is not perfect. any insights would be greatly appreciated. thanks

After you trimmed the carbon fiber, you should've sealed the edges with CA glue. Not sealing the edges can cause delamination.

It is so much easier just to use CARBON FIBER material with fiberglass hardeners over a mold. No, it’s not gonna have the same strength, but it’s gonna have the same look if not better!!
