This was super helpful! One of the most uncomfortable parts of photography for me is directing people during a photo shoot. That's why I haven't done a lot of this type of shooting, I mostly shoot basketball games and wildlife lol

I’m a year late to the party but this was truly incredible. You powered right through the day so efficiently with such finesse & confidence. You’re a true professional. On top of it all you made the entire process fun for the whole wedding party & boy do the results speak for themselves 🤩 This video will be an inspiration to many for years to come. Thank you!

@VanessaJoy Totaly understand if you don't have time to answer, but iwe seen a few wedding/portrait shooters going for the new R6mkii because of the AF system, or should I just go with the R5 ? Regards

Great explanation of HSS and some beautiful portraits with nice soft backgrounds. I was surprised to see the flash modifier pointing straight ahead. When it's elevated to such a height (above the model's head) I thought it would be angled downwards normally - like about 45 degrees.
@VanessaJoy4 күн бұрын
Depends on the direction of light you want 😉
@anzaeria3 күн бұрын
@@VanessaJoy Very good point! Ive heard a few people commenting that using HSS a lot may put additional strain on equipment which could lead to a shorter working life of flash gear. Have you ever experienced this yourself?
