If you're using Metric tools on a 60's Mustang, you've already failed.

@@BlisterBang eh, 9/16 is the same as 14mm
@BlisterBang4 күн бұрын
@@CoolCarVideo No, it's not. There are 25.4 mm in an inch. 9/16 is .5625; 14 mm is .5512 (2% smaller). You might be able to force a 14mm onto some bolt heads, depending on how sloppy it was manufactured. But the larger point is that if you are maintaining an automobile with NO metric parts on it at all, then it makes no sense to hunt for a Metric that maybe you can force on, or a loose Metric with which you risk rounding out fasteners. Use the tools designed for the application.

I have a 22 zl1. Would i need to get a tune in order to benefit from using this octane booster?
@CoolCarVideoАй бұрын
if you are bumping a few octanes up then No, you do not have to tune for it, your computer and knock sensor will adjust for it especially if it is hot outside. Though if you are bumping to the max, it would help a lot if you did tune for it, but then you need to have a way of switching back and forth between the maps with and without an accelerator.

Why did the 390 in iron fall? A 396 ci FE with aluminum heads and water pump and the induction. The block cost so much less. I never understood why a .030 over 70s D4TE block is said to handle 800-900 hp. I just don’t understand.

they way the plug part is design, it pops in and seales it from both sides, I was using the original 93 cobra wiring harness. But if I was just doing normal one, I probably would use something like this amzn.to/3Ja5hB3

I see many influences including a Ferrari 250 GTO rear, Cobra Daytona Coupe rear slant, a Ferrari 250 GTO LM rear/side roof line, 1960-1962 Ferrari 250 Testarossa front nose, 1958-1959 Aston Martin DBR1 front fender shape and many other vehicle influences!! Job well done!

Titled as a 1967 makes them a 1967…many cars are constructed and released in the year previous to their actual title date (I understand your premise that SAI was done with the Cobra by end of 1966). The 427 Coupe was an interesting exercise but assuming it would have been successful is a stretch whereas the GT40MkII winning LeMans in 1966 is a fact…same for Ford GTMkIV in 1967. You have to comprehend the true competition at the time which by then were all mid-engined. The mid-engined chassis with American V8 was also simultaneously becoming the winning combo in CanAm albeit with Lola then McLaren chassis with Chevy V8s. A front engined coupe with a big block no less in an endurance race would have been an outclassed dinosaur against the latest from Ferrari and Chaparral. PS…I have a first edition of your book with the signatures of Shelby, Brock, Gurney, Bondurant, Remington, Sears, Agapiou, and many others in it…a prized possession that I used to carry with me at Monterey and Sears Point.

Great question, the pressure in the bottle is around 90psi so that should be plenty to put everything through also the Penetrating Lube is thinner so it will get into every passage.

..funny how Britain crafted the roadster, for it’s raw driving experience. Light-weight and nimble. In stark contrast over here in america, we made the nimble light weight roadster rip your face off w/ raw blistering speed. No bugs stuck between the teeth here, rather they just knock your teeth right out. Haha Seriously though… windscreens are for girls. 😂
