What is the best paint sealant for gloss and self cleaning from dirt and dust? I just bought a new black car and want self cleaning properties with dust Thank you for your videos
@CarCraftAutoDetailing17 сағат бұрын
From what I’ve heard I lot of people seem to rate Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Wax at being good at resisting dust.
@MaddoxVicRealtor11 сағат бұрын
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing do you think that is a good product or do you recommend something else? I used the Meguiars ultimate polymer paste wax after I polished. Should I spray the sealant on top of that or does that not usually work well to do that?
@CarCraftAutoDetailing2 сағат бұрын
@MaddoxVicRealtor applying Meguiar’s HCW (or really any sealant) over another wax does tend to reduce its effective bond and durability and may also make the application a touch more difficult. You still absolutely apply it over the wax - it done this many times - but the best results tend be applying to clean bare paint.

A foam polishing pad like the yellow Meguiars foam disc, the Rupes yellow foam pad or the Lake County orange SDO foam should all work fine

Someone: *leans up against Sandro's mower* Sandro: "Hey I just polished and ceramic coated that!" 😂 Honestly this would've been a great April Fool's video, but the fact that it isn't makes it so much better because it shows the genuine care and appreciation you have for even a work utility vehicle. Great stuff

Hey Sandro! Do you think Meguiars' compound/polish are as good of a product as Rupes compound/polish? Thanks mate
@CarCraftAutoDetailing4 күн бұрын
Yes I think Meguiar’s makes some of the best compounds around. M110 as a cutting compound, Ultimate Compound as a medium and M210 as a finishing polish is a great range.

For spray protection Im planning to apply for twice a month. Or once a month Which product would you recommend? Turtle wax felx, sonax ceramic spray, meguiars ceramic wax, or i find sonax brilliant shine detailer is very cost effective Would you say if i only can have 1 spray lsp sonax bsd is the way to go?
@CarCraftAutoDetailing5 күн бұрын
BSD is very durable, chemical resistant and hydrophobic, but can be difficult to apply streak free and a bit grippy in its finish - so if TWFlex is causing you application issues (as you mentioned) you may struggle even more with BSD. If you want my personal recommendation for an easy to apply spray sealant that performs really great maybe give Nv Nova Boost V2 a go.

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing im afraid its not available in my country how about seal n shine So the competition is Sonax bsd vs tw seal n shine
@CarCraftAutoDetailing5 күн бұрын
@Messi10billy try using BSD with a damp cloth for you first wipe and a second dry cloth for your final wipe - it will help make the application easier

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing what do you think seal n shine vs sonax ceramic spray coating
@CarCraftAutoDetailing5 күн бұрын
The Sonax will be slicker and glossier, the TW will be a little more hydrophobic and could last a little longer - it depends what you want

Any tips for buffing the turtle wax flax? It took be an hour just to buff off
@CarCraftAutoDetailing5 күн бұрын
You should be working very small sections at a time, just a spray or two in each section and immediately wipe it in and buff it off. If you’re struggling a damp cloth can also help.

Thanks and in this video I used Carpro Essence Plus with a microfibre cloth to restore the plastics but another option is Solution Finish that can also work very well.

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing So you used polishing compound as I good understand?

No, Essence Plus is not a polish or compound is a cleaner/sealant

I don’t think this is a FAIR COMPARISON. why not??? Because you switch your benchmark products based on the test performed. YOU need to use ONE PRODUCT as a benchmark comparison because CMX just has their one line of products. While yes your comparison are informative they are not fair to CMX since you switch products each time. I think using one product would give a better overall comparison to each products overall performance because most people don’t have several different products to choose from!
