Nothing died before the Fall. Death did not exist until after Adam sinned. Of course to believe that, you would have to accept a young earth. At best, Adam lived less than 50 years before he sinned. So from creation to the fall was a very short time. There would have been no time for death to happen in such a short timeframe. This is apparent if one believes the Bible. Those who reject the Bible find many ways to insert death or long timeframes.

Be careful of self proclaimed Biblical scholars. You may have noticed that there is A LOT of them.....and very few agree with each other on almost any Biblical point. What these people do is begin to pull understandings of other ancient texts. They use these understandings of non Biblical texts to help solidify their theories. It cannot be stressed enough that everything you need to know is found in the KJV Bible. Listen to God's Words.....NOT MANS. The cherubim are described in the Bible. We do not need to jump into other sources to get a physical description of them. God Yells us that humans were made.....in the image of God and the angels. That means we look like God and the angels.....which means They look like us. Angels do not resemble serpents. Satan is an angel. A shining enchanter. He appeared that way in the Garden as well. He was created by God superior to the rest of God's creations. This means that he is smarter and more physically perfect than the rest of God's creations. He is a physically beautiful enchanter who appeared before Eve and used his charisma good looks and deviant brain to seduce her physically. Both Adam and Satan impregnated Eve. Satan's son was Cain. Cain carried on Satan's DNA through his bloodline which survived the flood. His children are called kenites and they rule today's world by lying about being jews.

So God created animals and all the creatures of the Earth, not as babies but adults in a sense of able to reproduce so when Adam named those animals and then God gave Adam a Wife who is Eve and then put them in the garden so how long did it take for them to produce babies which can then die and then we can say animals died before the fall? What animal would have died from the moment they were born to the moment of the garden?

What do you think of the idea man was to subdue the earth because an angelic fall had already corrupted nature prior to the garden being established? This fits with the Adam as priest narrative as it was his job to subdue and restore creation.

Hey i just stumbled on your channel and this is really interesting stuff. Good work. I took the Heiser pill a couple of years ago and have since really gained a deeper love for the Bible and for God through it. Sorry to heard you left the faith man. Many of us have taken a similar journey but for me leaving the faith is not a necessary step. Maybe there are other traditions that would be open to your studious and open mind. Try the Catholic or Anglican church. I say this as a Baptist, and you’re right it can be lonely in those places for deeper thinking Christians. I stay because of family reasons and ultimately i do believe that Christianity is true. Christians are good people its just that many are ignorant or their faith is weak (especially in North America) i seek respite in online communities and individual friendships and take the responsibility of learning abouy the Bible on my own shoulders.

I was raised Baptist. I bailed, and joined the Catholic Church. So true! Gotta go high church. Sorry about your family. Mine didn't respond _that_ badly, but I'm pretty sure they still think it's a phase. 🤷🏼‍♂️ It helped that my father's side is predominantly Lutheran, which (despite his problems with the Church!😜) still ended up closer to Catholicism than Low-Church Evangelicalism, so my grandparents and aunts and uncles didn't find it that shocking.

I might not pray a rosary but definitely fasting and prayer to God on a regular basis.

Show me in the Bible! The war cry of the Protestant. The Bible is good for correction and reprove ... does NOT mean, the Bible ONLY is good for ... This is Protestant thinking, or, even more exacting, Puritan thinking. The Puritan purifies, meaning reduces, tears out, simplifies until all that's left is a bland understanding of Scripture and a bland world.

The fact that it's tail swung like a Cedar means a tail similar to a Sauropod, This line debunks any claim that Behemoth is not a Dinosaur
@luigiconder6113
@luigiconder6113 2 ай бұрын
Why wouldn't the passage mention the sauropod's neck which is its most obvious feature? Also, sauropods were meant to feed on tree tops - even its teeth are made to shred leaves because they could not chew. Anything that eats grass must chew and sauropods are not field grasers. Then again, in spite of the *potential* interpretation in the e video I think that even if Behemoth were a dinosaur it would not be a sauropod. The creature also seems to spend its time in solitude unlike herd-dwelling social sauropods which were often dug up having lived and left behind footprints or mass nests together. The only two reasons left to think Behemoth may have been a reptilian monster of any sorts are because it is mentioned exclusively on par with the draconian Leviathan and because its tail is compared to a cedar. Considering its tail is its primary attribute as well as the fact that is a seemingly solitary, possibly very irritable creature that displays ox like behavior feeding on grass in the wilderness I'd make a comparison to the ankylosaur more loyal to the text. Ankylosaurs had the most "extreme" tail defense of any dinosaur, they were solitary aggressive creatures that fear nothing on earth (they had to coexist with Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops out of all neighbors) and actually ate grass instead of leaves. There also seems to be a point made in Scripture about the Behemoth having extremely strong bones. This would be most obvious to Job who has to literally "behold" Behemoth visually if the creature had some sort of bone-plated armor very obvious to anyone that sees it. All ankylosaur species were wrapped in hard bone armor that is an actual part of their skeleton Even over their faces. Even the ankylosaur's eyelids were armored. Their most deadly feature was their tail (often with a club on the end). Unlike a sauropod which Job would have noticed to have a long neck, you can hardly see an ankylosaur's neck like a turtle because it is covered in armor. Look up the perfectly preserved fossil of Borealopelta - the outside was fully armored bone. An Ankylosaurus would need strength in its loins - as the passage states - to wield a heavy club from it tail. It's solitary, it chews grass like an ox, its bones are what make it impossible to kill, it uses its loins to haul a weapon and it uses tail to destroy enemies. That's more "Behemoth" than any sauropod

Perhaps Psalm 74 doesn't contradict Gen 1, but slots into verse 2. It compliments it. And has to do with Satan's rebellion. And then Is 27 has to do with the final defeat of Satan. It seems far too suspicious that psalm 74 has a serpentine figure being defeated by God and a serpentine figure shows up in Gen 3. Almost like psalm 74 is the initial defeat, and Gen 3 is him gaving another go and being summarily put down. As he would be again at calvary. I like folks taking the ANE into consideration but I am always left disappointed because no one seems to want to take that and then construct a systematic theology of beginnings with it that reaches beyond polemics.
