I hate that they dont lay out the program simply so you can assess if you want to do it and list the price easily. I dont want to have to deal with a person until I decide I want to

Ketophiles falaciously demonize carbohydrates while the biophysiology of human nutrition of a low carb way of eating results in increased long term risk for all the degenerative diseases from constipation to cancer.

My wife and I completed the program in Feb 2023 and have the tools that have allowed us to maintain our goal weights to within 2 lbs. plus/minus. We do our monthly weigh ins and PHD is available to us anytime but we don't need a lot of support now. The weight loss phase really created the support and learning for us to create new habits and learn how to monitor and maintain ourselves. We have never felt better! That is what makes this program stand out for us. It's been an amazing journey and we are so grateful to the PHD team!

It is so inspirational and touching to see these people share their experiences with all of us on their journeys with PHD Weight Loss. I hope to try this when I get some money for the program soon I hope.

A cheat day is like missing a question on a test. If one follows a high carb day once a month it is like scoring 95% of a test instead of 100%. My opinion is this, the less high carb days the better.

This is an overpriced fad diet. You eat tiny portions of freeze dried food filled with sucralose and soy protein, two of the worst substances to eat on a regular basis. Great marketing campaign. Sub par diet. It doesn’t teach you how to eat properly to lose weight.

So what's your solution then?
@bluewater454
@bluewater454 Жыл бұрын
@@thez4377 High protein, high fats, low carbs. Cut the beer, sodas and sugars. Most of your carbs should be vegetables. Little to no bread or pastas. Portion control and exercise with intermittent fasting to help your system clean itself out. I’ve lost 40 pounds since last year doing basically these things.

The strategy of programs like this is that they take all your money so that you can no longer afford to buy food, thereby making you lose weight.

Just follow Dr Berg, Dr Berry, and Dr D'Adamo. Also based upon bloodwork to assess nutritional deficiencies. All info is available and for not large amounts of money. Not everyone can afford an eating coach.

Stop making excuses for these obese people as I see that in my family they constantly snack and eat McDonald's junk food. Stop catering to these people as this is like telling an alcoholic that's its OK nothing is wrong with them and realize there IS something wrong with them. We Need to get tough not nice words as Keto worked for some in my family who said "enough is enough " and they committed to low carbs and fat with little protein and the weight kept coming off (ketosis). Any diet works with overweight people they just have to stick to it for 1 year commitment and group therapy helps alot..

@@jason-dn3hy Someone I know is on the program. She gave them $8K to lose 40 lbs. You eat bariatric foods which are available online. You basically eat about 800 calories/day max. You get to eat real food for dinner but only 3 oz cooked protein and 1.5 cups veg, with 1 tbsp fat. It's wild what these people charge. It's low carb, high protein. Nothing really mediterranean about it.

Hi, great video! I have been looking for a while for information with a scientific approach to weight loss and I'm glad I found you! I have a few questions on the topic: 1) You mentioned that the experiments were made on a fairly long exposure of 1h, how are we certain that a few minutes will actually have an impact? 2) How does exercising in the cold (like running in winter) relates to the topic? The exposure to cold temperature would be there, however the body activity would authomatically warm you up. Would that prevent the activation of the gene group? 3) In order to see a significant impact, do you know how often and intensively one has to practice cold exposure? 4) Would you see any reason to avoid setting up a cold night environment to get a prolonged exposure to a medium temperature like 20 C?

I don't get why breast cancer is more common mid life compared to youth. And women develop bellies after midlife too. The cancer is attributed to higher estrogen... but then the weight gain is too... Obviously estrogen is lower after mid life, so explain that.

I'm on HRT. Though don't be sucked in by companies trying to manipulate you into doing it for weight loss. Do it for a better quality of life. These people get paid to suck you in by using weight loss as a mitigator.
