rare to see a .22 rimfire "shot out", it is a corrosion problem, early ammo used priming compound that caused metal to corrode very fast, age and neglect does the rest. It would help to use a true heavy duty 1/2 inch drill which runs much slower, is larger in size and has very high torque. A set up where a constant flow of recirculating oil is helpful. A lathe is the best option, the feed rate can be closely regulated.

Excellent video sir! It looks like the Panzer M4 is comparable (if not identical) to the MAC 1014 I'm looking at.

You sure can add the extension to the Panzer M4. Seen it done many times.

If that plastic sling attachment is actually part of the mold and not a separate piece from the rest of the stock, it's going to be better than the steel inserted sling attachment point. Putting those steel inserts into plastic and doing it right is not as easy as it seems.

How I break mine in fast and it has worked at least for both shotguns from two different manufactures. One from Panzer and one from MAC. I stripped both down and cleaned and re-oiled everything, racked it 500 times, and kept the spring under tension for a couple days. Ran the MAC 1014 with 2 boxes of low brass for trap shooting the very first time and it's ran flawless. Everything ejected without issues. Though these low brass were around 1200-1300 fps. So I'm not sure if that made a huge difference. I would like to try out some lower fps like the 1150 just to see if they run without ejection issues. Anyways I'm very happy with the guns and for the price you can't beat them.

You didn't settle. That IS an HK. It is only missing the brand stamp. All made on genuine HK certified and supplied equipment by HK trained gun builders. It absolutely will feed hollow points reliably as long as you select the right bullet design/profile/ogive.

There is a difference in hardness and hardenability. 4130 has cr/mo and .3% carbon. Easily takes deep case treatments. Machine then heat/quench temper. 1020/1018 has no alloys with .2% carbon. Not easily hardened except case to .020" at best. Carbon makes the hardness. Alloy addition makes it easy to harden.

As a machinist, hot bluing would likely warp the metal and give you a product with different dimensions than what you started with. Maybe minimal in some applications, but why do it if you can cold blue?

The difference in qaulity is negligable. Fit and finish might be better but the functionality of the guns is very close. Now if I was military or Swat I would want the Benelli. But for most Americans the Turkish shotguns are more than adequate and depending on them for self defense is not a problem. I have a Tristar G2 that is about 8 years old. I have put about 400 rounds various brands and loads, birdshot, turkey, buckshot and slugs it has never failed to load and go bang yet. I will say my G2 is a slightly different design it has one collar for the gas piston, whereas, these M4 clones have the two gas cylinders.

Can u color case harden an ak receiver. That would be absolutely beautiful. Color case hardend receivers. Nickle plated bolt. A exotic wood furniture. Hot deep blue/ purple blueing for barrel gas block and magazines since case hardening those might not be possible. Or maybe brass or copper accents like those copper colored muzzle devices or titanium brake flash hider to match the purple blue look. All on a forged and chrome lined gun.

My bolt would jam to the rear of the receiver when shooting high power loads. The spring would no longer send the bolt home. This happened to my Charles Daily twice and both times I sent it back to the Charles Daily for repairs. Can some tell me what went wrong and how was it repaired? Did the receiver wrap from the high fps rounds? Thanks
