Hi, you use the Moxy sensor in VO2 session for the warm up (repeated desaturation) or also during intervals? Also where did you learn how to use the lactate? Do you have any reference? Thanks. Great videos.

Has any research been done on the effects of heat training by using alternative exercise types? For example substituting hot yoga for cycling session. If the hot yoga class raises core temp by the same amount for the same duration the blood plasma effects should be similar. Given that the fitness gains for these cycling sessions is minimal maybe the alternative is an option.

What info do you et from the Core sensor that you can't et with a body thermometer?
@cedrikbakkechristophersen
@cedrikbakkechristophersen Ай бұрын
You get the live core temp so it’s easier to adjust the load and you also get the skin temp and a heat strain index which is very useful

it´s very important that you do get fresh air during indoor training, the used air is unhealthy because of the co2

But how much has your fitness improved in comparison to prior to heat training, and have you been able to sustain the power on the road in the heat? Because alot of people do it via secondary so they will sit in the sauna post session.

5:15 Dehydration is not essential: While some research has explored dehydration during heat acclimation, it's not necessary for achieving adaptation benefits. Research is still ongoing in this area but it has been shown that the physiological adaptations of increased plasma volume, improved sweating response, and cardiovascular adaptations occur regardless of hydration status.
