Dear Morten. I would like to ask a favor from you. Can you do a disco elysium interior drawing, blender to photoshop. Like the hotel room Hanry wakes up in the game. They used several techniques including special shadow pass in blender and applied that to their painterly style. I practically begging you since your style quite close what they achieved in their game

Amazing video! There is so much knowledge in this video and so I watched it a couple of times :) I do have a question. When you placed the black and white shadowpass in photoshop how did you seperate the black from the white? I can see that you used masks to do this but I can't exactly see which steps you took this since the video is going so fast (I tried slowing it down but it's still too fast).

Hi! I really liked how you used the grease pencil for the concept of the house and the tentacles. Couldn't you make a video explaining how to use the grease pencil? I have very curious how you used it and I would like to learn how to use it, please. Thank you. new subscriber.
@Montinovich2 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for watching and subscribing! I didn't actually use grease pencil in the video, all the 2d work is done in Photoshop :) I would definitely like to look into grease pencil in the future!

@@Montinovich hi! Thank you very much for answering! Oh I thought you used the grease pencil at minute 6:20 to 6:33 of the video. I'm new to blender, I'm just starting to get to know it. I loved how in minute 6:20 to 6:33 you did the part of the tentacles and I would like to know what tool you used and how? I really like the domain you have in blender, I would like it if you could upload a video tutorial about it. how to use blender for concept art
@halloweennight7972 жыл бұрын
@@Montinovich also the part where you add the lines in blender to make it look like a kind of perspective grid, very similar to the one used in photoshop. I really like how you simplify the work in blender and then take it to photoshop

Man, this is some excellent quality content! If you permit - you stick to the point, very concise and eloquent, don't over-talk and you show the whole process so candidly, simply and professionally! Your art is amazing, and I really hope you continue to make videos like this - I learned so much! Thank you for this awesomeness! Cheers! :)

Hey I just found this channel and I'm loving it so far. You are so talented and I could watch your videos all day. Only one little piece of feedback regarding the video itself: when videos are this long, listening to the same background song again and again on a loop can be a little bit tiring. You could try and use 2-3 different themes throughout it. There's lots of free music channels out there, check out Ivan Duch or Alexander Nakarada for example :) Anyway these are great quality work, keep it up! I just liked all of them & subscribed

How do you come up with just the black shadows from the final render image? i didn't understand that part
@Montinovich2 жыл бұрын
In blender, if you go under renderpasses, make sure that "shadow" is turned on, and then render out in multilayer EXR format. You can then open that render in photoshop with the free plugin Exr-io, and there you will have a layer with each render pass including the shadow pass which you can then copy over in your working file and manipulate how you want :) hope that made sort of sense! You can also preview the shadow render pass in the blender viewport and do a render of just that pass and save out
