I miss my 960, but not the 54hp it occupied, so I now have one of these on its way to me. It will fit nicely in one of my 40hp skiffs.

Behringer 1027 is another example of CV+gate sequencer module.

The LED is not showing the S+H trigger activity, it's showing the frequency of the internal LFO. If you notice the LED is not updating every time a new trigger is received by either the push button of the external trigger input

I love the way you actually play your SQ1, very inspiring, it's giving me ideas, cheers. P.S. I was getting Kraftwerk vibes near the end there, gr8 stuff.

What does Audio Delay Resonance do?
@synthesizer8312 күн бұрын
It feeds back a portion of the signal to the input, making resonance longer and more intense. When you max it out, it starts to resonate by its own sometimes.

A lot of people don't explain how the high pass filter on this design works. I figured it was in series with the low pass, given my experience with the Malekko Roland version, but very few places anywhere actually say that much less give the signal path. Thanks for the great video with excellent explanations and examples!

It's so beautiful. has that grit I adore, (specially relative to the corporate smoothness of a moog) - I have one gathering dust and it's time to put some volts through her.

how is the sq1 changing what pads are lit up on there own? like at 10:39 only the first two top left are lit then 4 more light up and then all of them are lit?
@synthesizer8312 күн бұрын
Actually its some camera-shutter related effect messing with the iluminated pads, so in reality they don't change by their own and there is also no way to make them do so.

There is a module available now (4hp) from Australia (GP-82) that adds ratcheting and other cv functionality to the Behringer 182 and further functions to the 960. Available in kit form or ready made. Ive just ordered it so looking forward to having in my system. Just google GP-82 and you'll find it.

MFB was one of the first adopters of Eurorack in the 90s, always with a bit unusual concepts and interfaces. Their drum machines are great, also the synths. The modules are interresting and quite feature-rich, but some are not that easy to operate (in particular the sequencers).

This is the kind of video that is the best thing about KZfaq. You have set a high standard of presentation with very informative content. Can't thank you enough for this. Especially with this module, the 1005 which is a very tricky subject with condensed logic. For beginners you have made a reference work to navigate these concepts. I noticed a comment further down talking about chords and tuning. This is an excellence subject as you know and is much more important than we can imagine. It is the basis of how we perceive this part of the electro/magnetic spectrum called sound.. Harmonics are the things that help us discern one sound from another. This module is a great playground for discovering tuning. The thing that really blows my mind is that you can create at least 3 tones with 2 oscillators and then send that through something like the 1047 filter and you have sonic heaven on earth. Its a great ride! Cheers

Whenever I watch your videos, it reminds me vividly of why I fell in love with modular synthesis. Your productions have such beauty, and they evoke what feels to me to be nostalgic, bittersweet emotions. I honestly get lost in your music and your videography adds a beautiful dimension to the vibe. Thank you so much!
