You know what? I’m a regular viewer of your KZfaq channel. I have seen all your videos, and your content qualities are very good. I learned lots of things from you. Your channel has great quality content, but still, it's not delivering to the right audience due to SEO problems. See your video views are low. You should focus on your SEO to get a large fanbase. Thank You

I strongly disagree. I think people really take to heart what Colin said when meanwhile Penelope has been writing about his family while hanging out at their house for years. The tables needed to turn for both of them. While I have major problems with the script, Colin not deserving Pen isn't one of them. Also, this is a romance. We're rooting for Penelope! She's loved this man her whole life of course she's going to choose him if given the chance. They just needed less plots, flash backs, and more episodes to build on their friendship. There could have been so many more cute rom com moments and wish they just let polin take their time in scenes.

Adorable puppy. I think the balloon scene was necessary to see the girls fight for Lord Debling. My favorite is Queen Charlotte (10), then Berdgerton 1(10), 2 (9), and 3 (8). I think there will be a spinoff, Lady Violet.🪶

Yes definitely I loved their stories this series! The moment when phillipa called vali to release the butterflies to distract everyone’s attention away from Penelope was really kind of her. And I loved when prudence cried at Penelope’s wedding! Glad they all got along better. Melissa xx

Why doesn't Colin deserve Pen? I see a lot of people say this, but I just don't understand why he gets so much hate. He has always respected Pen, he always sought her out to ask what was on her mind and how she was feeling. For a man to ask that of a woman in those times is crazy. Colin always valued Pen, which is reflected in how often he sought her out and corresponded with her when he was traveling. He was always looking out for her and being a good friend. He caved to peer pressure once and said something mean, but then when called out on it, he immediately apologized for it and begged Pen to let him make it up to her by helping her find confidence in herself. He kept telling her she didn't need lessons, she just needed to stop caring what everyone was thinking/ saying. That is the ultimate respect to me. Pen did some horrendous things to Colin by dragging him and his family to the entire ton, time and again, which was constantly putting them in scandal and ruining their reputation. Just because Colin didn't realize he loved Pen in the beginning doesn't mean he doesn't respect her. In truth, Colin doesn't owe Pen his feelings. Pen also never told him she had feelings for him, so was he supposed to read her mind. We know how much Pen loves him by witnessing her forlorn looks at him, but Colin doesn't see those looks, so how was he to know? When he realized that he had these feelings for her, he acted on them, but only after asking Pen if she was engaged. That is also respectful. I think Colin and Pen have the best love story out of any couple in the books. I think they have the healthiest relationship. They see and accept each other for who they truly are, and work together to make each other better. It took Colin a bit to accept Pen as Lady Whistledown because she was hiding and lying to him about her true self. Colin had a right to be angry, but he overcame that and loved and respected her even deeper. I don't understand all the hate Colin gets. He is just a sensitive boy who is trying to fit in with what society tells him a man should be and is mimicking what his brothers are like. But when he is with Pen he always reverts back to who he truly is and never puts on an act with her, same with Pen. She is always clever, funny and open with Colin, her true self. They always show each other their true selves with no fear of reproach from each other. .......just a side point....I also loved Lord Debling, he was a good guy. However, he did not want a love marriage. He wanted a practical marriage. That is not what Pen wanted, she was going to settle for that because she didn't think there was any better alternative. But once Colin told her his true feelings, she was able to find the love match she always wanted. Debling was a perfect device to show Colin that Pen could be lost to him forever and showed Pen that a practical marriage is not what she desired. He was the perfect character to push these two characters together, who were too scared to reveal their feelings for fear of rejection. I think this is the best season of Bridgerton....I also did not like S2 and I found the side plots in S1 to be more entertaining. I think they did have a few too many stories happening this season, but I think overall the story and the romance was the best in S3.

I’m looking forward to Dark Fire 🤞 When you mentioned not being bothered about the diversity, I thought to myself, “It certainly didn’t bother me, a Bridgerton fan. Well, you did better than me, I still haven't watched it 😅 To be honest, I was very disappointed in S2, so I didn't expect S3 to be any better. I thought it was cartoonish and soapy and very predictable. I agree with what you said about the sets - they were so fake and the lighting was too bright. At times the sets in S1 were bad, but they also used historic buildings and more importantly lots of outdoor scenes, which were sadly lacking in the later seasons. But my main reason for not watching S3 was my dislike of Colbourne and the fact that Charlotte became so wimpy and boring. I absolutely loved Charlotte in S1 and I couldn't bear to watch her marry that wet blanket 😂 Yes, I was a Sidlotte fan and I supported the show in good faith for that storyline to be completed, but I would have accepted a new story if it had been done better and more sensitively. It was like a different show and even less to do with Austen. Possibly, it should never have had her name on it. Season 1 was fun though! Enjoyed watching your analysis, thank you.

I want to get into your mind whilst reading Shardlake: a Matthew Macfadyon & Mark Rylance combo sounds like my ideal man. For some reason, my mind ran more towards a younger Toby Jones. I liked Alice, and yes she'd make a great Tamsin. I would have liked to have seen more interraction between Matthew & Alice, such as where she tells him that he's too down on himself and has a fine face, etc. That's a strange bit to remember reading, but it made Alice a more complex character with her conflicting emotions between Mark & Matthew. In Matthew she probably saw a comfortable future but just didn't have other feelings towards him (she didn't fancy him). My favourite character in the books: Brother Guy, he's such an honourable and true character and in the books does stand out as being different which wasnt conveyed so much in the series. I have no problem with diversity in historical/period dramas (Heathcliff should always be a played by a person of colour, sorry Tom Hardy) but in this instance it downplays Guy of Malton's journey and the prejudice against him which also forges his and Matthew's frindship. Guy also uses his medical knowledge to help Shardlake manage his pain. I guess I'd have liked to have seen a more fleshed out Guy... Prior Gabriel's end should have been more nobel as it was in the books. I would have enjoyed his character arc from perceived as sinful, he was a peeping tom, but also had a caring side. Thank you, i really enjoyed your thoughts. Another video I started watching was unnecessarily critical so I appreciated your balance and love your well-read book. I'm going to re-read Dark Fire soon!

🩸thanks for the thoughts! I also wasn't a fan of Jack killing Goodhap, but it did establish a reason for him to appreciate Matthew, as we see in the final scene. But of course it is interesting that Matthew was so determined to see Alice face justice but happy to cover up Jack's crime. But then he's also not all that disappointed that Alice has escaped, really; I think he's more disappointed that Jack didn't tell him about the secret passage. I thought they did a really good job of showing Matthew's change as he realises Cromwell's corruption, his increasing disillusionment. I felt that softened him more than anything. Overall I agree with you: at first, the changes they made caused me to wonder how they would bring it to a good ending, but by the end of the show it all fell into place and made sense. I hope they make more... And even better, my husband is now devouring the Shardlake books! Win - win!

I do explain the audio quality in the video. I'm not a professional, I don't do this as a job - I work full-time and then do this when I can so I don't have a lot of time to edit audio etc. In terms of the ending, I am always very conscious that some people may not have seen the show yet - even if I say 'spoiler alert' and so I didn't want to discuss the ending too much. That being said I do appreciate that this is the culmination of the murder mystery so I maybe should have spoken more about the plot etc. I will bear this in mind for future videos.
