3:10 this probably a dumb question, but why does he raise his drumsticks higher (farther from the snare) the faster he goes? I was taught that the faster you go, the closer your sticks are to the snare. I’m a new drummer, so please forgive my ignorance ❤

und schon teilweise traditionel grip.....böser thomas, da du in einem beitrag den traditionel grip sogar sozusagen negativ bewertest (ich stimme dir da auch zu) und deswegen auch umgestiegen bist. na, der traditionel grip scheint wohl doch noch zu stark in deiner motorik verankert zu sein 😊.

i got a used set of the roto toms kit Pearl "Varipitch" 3 toms 1 snare.... when i was 14 for christmas... early 80s.... i then bought a small remo 3 tom on the rack to add to it.... In 1996 i did a tour with a group.... fedex lost my bass drum... but i still have the toms and the snare...
