I’d also venture to guess that the revolver was chosen because of how widely available they were at the time. Its simplistic design made it easy to modify, and they were inexpensive given how many were in circulation.

@@SPProps I preferred it when the blaster was a bit of a mystery.. Im sure in the Bladerunner world the second trigger, the lights had a purpose.. speed loading was not easy for this gun.. . there is no scenes of loading or unloading.. dealing with physicaly superior replicants 5 rounds are not enough.. So iv settled on this gun was never a revolver in the movie..

I think the flash is decent. While I’d personally love something that makes me see spots 🤩, I know there are safety concerns with releasing something like that.

@@SPProps I know but i've been trying to find someone for literal years now that is willing to do it. There are people on the RPF that did some great models from 3D Printed ones but like i said it's not the same thing as a collectors grade item made by a huge company with a license. ParagonFX has gone pretty much silent on anything else regarding Blade Runner collectables, besides the re-released Deckards Blaster (which is essentially a Tomenosuke in disguise, yet to a reasonable price). I've heard rumors that they will do a Metal Version of K's Blaster from BR 2049 this year, but nothing official. Last year a guy working for ParagonFX asked for input on the RPF and i suggested the Emanator, since then: Nothing. Hopefully ParagonFX will consider this. Also a portable Eyescanner from BR 2049 would be a nice thing. I keep my fingers crossed while i work on my Pewter Kit of Deckards Blaster from TipTop Workshop.

@spikeyfied I know Paragon is working on K and Luv’s blasters but haven’t heard anything else.

You definitely can! There’s no trigger guard on the Bulldog, but you can add the one that comes with the kit.

If you don’t want to paint or weather, then yes, the assembled pieces are great! And you can pick and choose what you want to adjust on them so kind of the best of both worlds!
