People who told you that you don't love yourself, have a very elementary understanding, if even that, of what self-esteem is all about. You look much better and now you can really be yourself instead of being self conscious of what was a disfiguring appearance. There are a lot of people, especially women, against rhinoplasties. They might be worried that you will look prettier or have more self esteem (afterwards) than they do. You did the right thing and made a financial sacrifice as well as went through pain. Rhinoplasties have plummeted in the US last I checked the data, and this scenario is due to a very misguided agenda.

If you got a nose job you didn't like the way you looked and wanted to fit a mould you believe was better. That is a fact of your actions. No one changes what they like only what they don't.

I feel the same way. Confidence is an issue big time!! :( However, it make a whole lot of difference when you have a good preceptor who teaches you more than pressuring you to make decisions on spot.

I think the reason nurses who use to be techs are more nice is because they use to be there, in that position. they had to learn to. anywhere you work especially in healthcare, you start some where. I think it's very humbling. god bless those people and the nurses whom never been a tech but don't mind helping new nurses. 🤍

I completely relate to everything you said. I'm currently in my sixth semester of FNP school, and I'm seriously doubting my decision. I know I'm a good nurse, but I sometimes feel lost in clinicals. You're right that God wouldn't have given me the idea to go back to school if he didn't want me to see it through. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your experience. I wish you much success as you continue.

How long is your NP program ?
@ThatGurlSKY19 күн бұрын
I watched your video when it first came out and I was finishing up my first year. It was stressful but doable. I’m in a PMHNP program and just finished a six week summer session with three exams and multiple papers and I feel like I’m going crazy. It takes me about an hour to get home from school and I cried the whole way home 😫I guess over the course of these few months I didn’t realize how badly my emotions were bubbling up and more importantly, my Unknown fixation with the perfectionism that I soon realized I had to let go. Coming back to this video and watching it again helped me so much. I feel seen 😭🙏🏽 thank you girl

I'm 28 went a different path than I should have but now I want to go back on the path of nursing. I know I've heard it's never really too late but how hard is it to go through nursing school and everything that is required before getting into the program with a family?

I'm not a nurse or training to be one. Just wanted to say that I really appreciate all the hard work you all do in taking care of your patients whole heartedly. I've been trying to educate myself and learn more about the profession and it's not an easy career path. Thank you all for what you do and if you're wanting to be a nurse, you can do it! You got this!

I have ten dogs. I also work three 12 hour shifts and soon I’ll be working everyday besides two days. Between my husband and I, we manage it well. My dogs only stay in their kennels at night for about 7 1/2 hours. But if they have to use the bathroom, they let me know and I get up and take them out for a potty break. I also leave a toy or bone in their kennels in case they get bored. I’m blessed in a way because all ten of my dogs will let me know when they need water or a treat or potty time. It’s a lot, for sure, but I love my baby’s so much and once we get a bigger place, I’m getting more rescues. 🤍
