If you want to see another exquisitely beautiful film that is another epic, and features Peter O’Toole in an impressive role, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND “The Last Emperor” (1987) directed by the Italian master Bernardo Bertolucci with cinematographer Vittorio Storaro, who used a complex symbology of colors. It was the first feature film allowed to film in the Forbidden City. All done on location in China (and Manchuria), with some interior sets shot in Italy. David Byrne contributed to the gorgeous musical score by Ryuichi Sakamoto (RIP.) P.S. If you are able to watch it on a restored DVD or BluRay by the Criterion Collection, the visuals and sound are immensely better, sharper, richer than anything available on streaming, and the costuming and scenery will be a real pleasure to see.

Y'all should watch Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. Great movie and Sting plays a minor role. Then follow it up with Snatch.

Yall might like "The princess and the goblin" arguably a disney flop cartoon movie. Its basically this but the princess utilizes a string to find her way back out. Food for thought. Oh shit! Simone referenced it at 21:06 ! Insane. Or as you would say it Outrageous!

This was filmed using Technicolor. Technicolor was a special 3-strip film stock with its own cameras that required special training. Technicolor is known especially for its super saturated red and green colors, which could account for the highlighted blood color. Technicolor is incredibly long-lasting, and achieves unmatched depth and quality. (Martin Scorcese has a video with an explanation of how Technicolor works, and how he spent $250 thousand to restore the Powell/Pressburger masterpiece The Red Shoes.)

The half time speech Ted gave in the last match felt like it wasn't Ted talking. I feel that was Jason speaking to the cast. As well with the last scene in the airport with Ted and Rebecca. That was Jason and Hannah speaking to each other ❤ Hannah has a lot of love for Jason for changing her life thanks to this show.

I was lucky enough to see a 70mm print in a huge theater. Some films are absolutely meant to be seen as intended, not shrunk down for tv. I remember people joking about how sales of drinks in the theater always increased for this film.

Locations included Jordan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Andalucía in Spain, a desert in California, plus locations in England and Wales. Filming took about 18 months. Costs were about $15 million (today about $138 million) but today would undoubtedly be more due to travel logistics, safety requirements, salaries, etc. The perfectionism of director David Lean created difficulties during filming but resulted in an epic with eternal beauty and power, and unforgettable moments.

It’s hard to accept that there are people this ignorant out there. No, a clone is not somehow the same person. No, Hugh Jackman’s clone was not “him”. No, when the clone died it was not Hugh Jackman himself dying. No, Hugh Jackman is not “kinda dead” because his clone died. Yes, killing another human being is murder, even if they have the same DNA as you. Identical twins are clones. Yes, it’s murder if someone kills their twin. And no, the other twin is not “kinda dead” after murdering their twin… since they’re two different people and all 😂😂😂 Maybe you should take some elementary school level science classes to better inform yourselves on how genetics and cloning work.

When Louis says "I failed again" he means that he keeps looking for someone who understands that his vampiric existence is ultimately a miserable one but everytime he tries to relate that, the person always says "Whoa, Vampire life is awesome!" and he's all "What am I doing wrong?! What am I doing that makes people WANT to be like this?!"

Give you guys a hint: whenever you see Jeroen Krabbé in an American movie, ten will get you one that he's the bad guy. Watch Soldier of Orange to see him play a good guy, alongside Rutger Hauer.

Oh side note as Ive just rewatched this vid :P George: Yes you are absolutely correct, real velociraptors were indeed much smaller than portrayed in the film, the animals seen in the movie are more accurate to Deinonychus or posibly Utahraptors but they went with Velociraptor as the name simply because it sounds cooler/scaier ;)
