I don't even worry about this. If you check the stats for nerds for some of your favorite artists on youtube, most of their songs are normalized quite a bit so I'm not even mad at it.

How to render with a mask layer in your video, any help please?
@ThePremierePro8 күн бұрын
To render with a mask layer in your video, you'll need to use a codec that supports an alpha channel, such as ProRes 4444 or GoPro Cineform.

Thank you sir! EXACTLY what I needed. I'm revisiting an old, very complex edit with a lot of cross-talk that I wanted to clean up. Based on your tips here, I re-exported the dialog mix from Audition with the two participants panned hard R and L, and then where I needed to clean up cross-talk I duplicated selected clips and modified channels as needed, and then applied a channel mixer preset "All Channels 50%" so all clips are playing out of both channels, since I don't really need any stereo separation with this project anyway. Kind of a weird way to work but in this case it's saving me LOADS of time, not to mention sparing my sanity. THANKS AGAIN.

This very nice, thank you. How can I make one screen talk and other stand still and than the second screen, etc.
@ThePremierePro19 күн бұрын
Glad you found it helpful! To make one screen talk while the other stands still, add a freeze frame. Position the playhead, right-click the clip, and select "Add Frame Hold." Drag to extend the freeze frame. Mute or disable tracks to switch between talking and still screens. Hope this helps!

if i want to add this effect to the whole video and have it gradually increase, how do i do it? Can you please help?
@ThePremierePro23 күн бұрын
To apply the channel change effect to your entire video and have it gradually increase, you'll need to set keyframes for all the effect at both the start and end of your video.

Transform and Offset worked for 1 one of my clips using the shape mask, but then I try another one one the same timeline and only offset works. When I try scaling it, the entire mask scales up and down as well. Anyone have this issue and solved it?

3 year old video and still helping out video editors like myself... thank you for the tutorial. Always saw videos where people are making codes in After Effects... that's fine and all, but this is so much simpler lol
@JulianDavidMusicАй бұрын
Actually, using the transform effect to scale the footage when using track mattes only works if you increase the scale. If you decrease the scale below 100% your matte will start to shrink. Extremely frustrating! Anybody know a solution?
@ThePremiereProАй бұрын
Thanks for watching! To avoid shrinking the matte, make sure the transform effect is above the Track Matte effect in the Effects Control panel. This should solve the issue.

Any idea how to assign a shortcut to your newly made workspace?
@ThePremiereProАй бұрын
Premiere automatically assigns keyboard shortcuts to the first 9 workspaces when sorted alphabetically (e.g. Shift + Alt/Option + [1-9]). So if you renamed your workspace something that sorted to the top of the list - like "1 My Workspace" then the shortcut for that would be Shift + Alt/Option + 1.

It's odd. Timebolt doesn't have a scrolling bar on mine. So, I can't download it or see the timeline.
@ThePremiereProАй бұрын
That's unusual. Try using the Page Up and Page Down keys on your keyboard to scroll through the timeline. This should help you navigate without a scroll bar. Let me know if that works for you!

Hi! Do you have a video showing how you added the sound effect with the Transition?
@ThePremiereProАй бұрын
If you have Adobe Audition, you can create this noise easily using Effects > Generate > Noise, and set the Color to White. Otherwise, try sreaching KZfaq for "static white noise".
