I mean it's a good technique if you're desperate and want to win a race for money, especially if the money involved is worth more that whatever you're destroying in your vehicle. Even then it's a gamble as your car has a chance of capping out at every shift. Entirely useless in any other scenario though.

As bad as powershifting may be, you pull them off so seamlessly! Most enthusiasts wouldn't be able to tell you weren't lifting!

I have a Civic Si and I’m pretty glad Hondata did this, they basically let you power shift but when you push down the clutch, the ecu locks the rpm from when you pushed in the clutch, I have some videos of me doing it
