Be careful with the BBF around a lot of wood. It will set your tree house on fire above it from the lava inside.

So if the machine doesn't get a big enough packet because of cable loss it can request another, leading to 2A. It can also charge a battery. So under rare circumstances it should be possible for it to pull 4A, even though it's a 1A machine! Or at least I think that's how it works!

Finally you always find a lot of nodes over water like rivers, lakes and oceans. Though oceans are disabled from memory.

Nodes don't need chunk loading to regenerate. They keep track of the last time they were loaded and then when you go to use them they will regenerate the amount they would have had they been loaded the entire time.

The balanced shard cauldron recipe that is the best is 1 gunpowder (2 ignis 2 perditio) 2 chiseled stone blocks (make stacks at a time in the chisel, 1 terra 1 ordo each), and 2 pam's fresh water (1 aqua each) with an aer shard. It's good because there's nothing left over in essentia which can come out of the cauldron in the form of flux gases or slime, requiring an annoying cleanup. Be careful with research cause you can discover recipes that duplicate gunpowder, cobble, sugar cane, etc. and do something with chiseled stone so you shouldn't take those until you have your essentia processing and alchemical construct built. Otherwise you may find yourself suddenly without the ability to craft balanced shards.

12:43 that blood is extremely useful. You can use a bucket of it for solidifying vast swaths of lava into obsidian to make the nether safer. Also first time you go into the nether you can use your pollution suit to save you from lava. Though it is pretty flimsy and might break from infernal pigmen somehow wacking you through the walls when you touch their precious ores 😹 If you can't beat them join them. The very second you get an aluminium ingot make it into a plate and use it to make a pig backpack (surround a regular backpack with pork). Put it on. Then arrange to get hit by lightning. Lighting creepers, witches and Enderman can help, as can lightning internals. Usually I can never find one at the right time. So you can put off going to the TF till now or make another Twighlight Forest portal. The 4 LV circuits and 1 Diamond for the Quick and Dirty Portal Generator is well worth it, because now you'll be completely immune from fire, lava and lightning. Indispensable for the nether and particularly the lightning you will get pummeled with when you start to get into thaumcraft and get warp. Be aware though! Don't jump into a lava ocean in the nether from a great height, thinking it will break your fall like water. It will not! Sure the lava won't hurt now, but it won't help either! You'll go splat ON THE BOTTOM OF THE LAVA OCEAN and then you'll have the annoyance of trying to get your grave out of the bottom of a sea of lava without burning up all the items, you won't have your lava resistance backpack, it will be in your grave, all while the lovely denizens of the Nether are trying to play with you. Truly not a fun time, take it from me...

Most of the thermal centrifuge recipes simply aren't needed. You can get exactly the same drop by instead universal macerating another product like a washed ore, then centrifuging the pure dust in a regular centrifuge.

If you put the sand up two layers above the water with a non-falling block beneath you can make the water all go to one place much easier as you do not have to contend with it flowing around blocks. It would be a layer of water flowing to one space, a layer of the non-falling block of choice spaced out for the cacti, a layer of sand on top of those blocks, and then cacti on top with fences, bars, etc. whatever you use to break the cacti. Takes up a little more space, but is less headache for the collection system.

You can place the red backpack into a backpack slot. It is a keybind in the Backpacks mod. You change the key and then shift+(selected keybind) and you can place that backpack into a slot. Then you can open it with that keybind.

You're pretty close to being able to make the Steam Oven multi. It just takes a whole lot of steel and wrought iron as I recall it. I think it's a 2x2x2 so two crafts of the recipe.

As far as the steam to EU efficiency for the wiremill, it's slightly less efficient than your steam machines in terms of "per tick", but overall more efficient per recipe. The steam machines directly use 2 steam per 1 eu (so a 4eu recipe will use 8 steam per tick) but the turbine only runs at 85% efficiency, plus you have generator loss (32/33 is the ratio of that), so you end up using ~2.4 steam per EU via the turbine. Slightly more if you have cable loss (which you do, in this case). HOWEVER. Those steam machines run for twice as long for each recipe, so they end up using 4x steam per eu, total, compared to LV machines. So at the end of the day, the LV machines ARE far more efficient 😃

You can stick a block of obsidian into an alloy smelter with an ingot mould and it will make 9 obsidian ingots, each of which will macerate into an obsidian dust. Also you can get giant obsidian under the trollstein in the twighlight forest. That macerates to 64 if memory serves. Useful for the ridiculous amount of dense obsidian plates you need in this pack. I think you might need the giant pickaxes from the giants up in the clouds though to mine it. They are close to where the trollstein is, but way up in the sky.

8:42 unfortunately you can't automate the Primitive Blast Furnace. Which is a real shame as it has a lot of utility getting extra products and metal out of your ores. Eg. When you get Tetrahedrite from the Nether you can 6 Copper Ingots and enough Antimony Nuggets to make 2 Antimony Ingots!

It's far better to put speed on your hammer instead of reinforced. The extra amount of ore that you get from mining the same amount of time massively exceeds the amount saved from fewer repairs.
