How about if the persons mom is passed. Grand folks who had custody passed. He is like a brother to me. And my family is like a surrogate family. And he’s a different ethnicity. He deserves a mother even late in life. Please let me know

Need to go back to states handling the foster care, not contracted agencies. Prison contracted out, more money they make. Dr get kickbacks from drug companies needs stop. Should not be for profit agencies.

The thing about this that really makes me sick is there are actual children out there being abused who actually need to be removed from their homes and the CPS system will not intervene,yet they will use all their resources doing this. 2 years ago in my state we had 2 children die of child abuse ( separate incidents,not the same defendant or household), after the investigations were completed it was revealed that each victim’s abuse had been reported to CPS no less than 10 times each but both children remained with their abusers until they were dead.Sadly we can’t do away with child protection entirely because there are sick individuals like the ones who killed those children but the system needs a complete revamp& perhaps someone from department of justice should be required to provide direct supervision of each state’s protection to ensure that there’s no corruption.

I knew someone working for the state and they said they would frown upon single, gays as parents 😢bummer cuz I’d give the kid just as much love as any biological parent.

A disciple shows light and truth. I enjoy your videos as a Christian. I have been thinking about going to law school. The laws have to catch up to 2024 for these children in dependency. I lived through 2 years of fighting for our son to adopt him which we were successful. Then his sister was placed with us 2021, I had her from the hospital, the devil intervened in case. She was with us for two years. The system is broken. I would love to connect with you as I develop my platform.

A family member fostered a child as a young baby and had him for almost 3 years old. As soon as they put in to adopt he was moved tight back to the family that after 3 years they were suddenly able to parent. They stopped fostering

I think it sounds like you are buying a baby. It shouldn’t be different prices to adopt a baby versus an older child that might bring a lot of baggage into your home

I’m currently caring for 3 children for a family member. And they’re such a blessing in my life. I have 2 of my own, one in college and another preteen. But the joy I’m experiencing right now is Gods gift to me. I’m so glad to be able to touch the lives of others. It’s my wish to adapt one day. Thanks for your words of encouragements. When you can put the needs of others before your own speaks volume. Children are Gods blessing to us, im grateful to have them.

Should have never taken the baby out of the house, the friend should have come to them.

Re-homing will not work at all. Such children are grown, they have their own preferences. They had bad experiences and so will be their behavior mostly that can be detrimental to the family adopting them. Instead those wealthy or the family wish to adopt such children should fund children for rehabilitation first, assess what is best and worse in them, get them in to education or fine arts where they have real passion and bring out the best in them and improve their lives, only then a good alignment will take place between re-home parents and adopted child, otherwise the connect between them is impossible

And God knows children need clothes shoes every day and every three months. You give children a safe , loving environment and change their lives. If you purchase winter clothes this year, next year it will not fit the children. We have to expose them, zoo, museum, plays etc so they can learn. I am planning to get their passports and take them across the Atlantic Ocean. Yes!
