I remember Harry Seacombe on some Goon Show retrospective and he said that Sellers was a “nice man” in a sort of summing up. I thought it was really interesting because, by then, Sellers’ horrible behaviour was common knowledge. But I felt that, Seacombe, being a Christian man, was being forgiving and decent in the face of all evidence. I’m not sure how you’d feel watching that if you were the victim of that amount of malice.

I saw that Bobbi Wygant interviewed Jerry on the same day in that same room on a video. Interesting to compare the two interviews.

SCTV brought me here but I have to tell you Brian is probably the best prepared interviewer I've ever seen. Amazing how it comes all from his memory.

His character portrayal on the first season of True Detective along with Matthew McConaughey's is his best acting job, in my opinion. I was astounded by both of them.

I'd like to have Anthony Hopkins over for dinner. He's full of fascinating insights and personal history and the way he recounts them is subtly soothing and makes you want to listen to him forever.

Alright, I looked through a bunch of comments and I’ve not seen anyone bring up this observation, so I’ll do so. Who else thinks Mark was stoned in this interview? it’s the faraway look in his eyes.

I don’t think I have ever seen an interviewer “kiss an interviewee’s ASS more than this guy” which is TOTALLY DISGUSTING! Lewis Loves being Idolized and this guy laid it on Thick!

Thank you Mr. Bob Evans for all the pleasure and entertainment that you have given me, a real leader with an artistic vision. If Hollywood is anything, it's because of Bob fricken Evans, bless him.

In King of Comedy his character was very similar to how he usually is in interviews. Not a lot of acting although I enjoyed that movie.

I was 8 years old at the time of this interview, and obsessed with Star Wars. As an 8 year old, I never watched a single interview back in the day. Pretty cool to be able to watch it now, at 52 years old.
