Da sing ich gleiuch mit und werde nicht mehr aufhören: Da fand ich den meine Seele liebet...den meine seele liebet...ich fa..aaa..and ihn.Und will ihn nicht lassen...:Wer kann aufhören , hier zuzuzhören, bis er in ihrer Mutter Kammer gelandet sein wird?Das ist extremst gute Musik,so was lobe ich und preise ich auf das allerhöchste wie noch nie gehört.Das ist extremst wunderbar udn mitziehend.

Das ist extremst wunderbarst voll hinmitreissend- wenn man es denn nachvollzieht von ganzem herzen:So was hörte ich nocvh nie und darum danke ich hunderttausendmalst dafür, dies zu hören bekommen zu haben:Darinnen liegt nicht nur ein verzücken, sondern ein unendliches verzücken liegt in dieser Musica.Das ist extremst mitbewegwend wie noch nie gehört.So wunderbar.Und so wunderbar gesungen ist das und so wunderbar hellfeinklingend spielen die Geigen und großgeigen so wunderbar verzückend.Wer hörte je so was mitreissend-verzückendes-auch wenn die Wächter sie fanden , die in der Stadt rumgehen---und die Wäcvhter sie funden...O Je, das ist soein wunderbarer Gesang wie noch nie gehört-und man wird ihn wohl nie mehr woanders zu hören so bekommen.danke1

I have always thought Membra Jesu Christi, the whole cycle is the most beautiful piece of music Buxtehude had ever written, but the more often I listen to this fantastic opus, I need to realize that this is the peak of this extraordinarily great composer's works. Unputdownable. Marvelous. The song of songs, etc. Thanks for uploading.

Well very interesting outdated testimony...of the 70s : so slow and so pompous, using modern instruments and equal temperament, with an inadequate pronunciation which, we now know for sure, was never that of the french singers from the King's Court (In the baroque age, French Latin, that of the chapel of Versailles, is 'Gallican' Latin, and not the Latin of the Jesuits). And this homogeneous sound grieves me : because of the 'right' sounding instruments, they replaced a handful of multicoloured candles with all-white ones. And yet Jordi Savall and his colleagues were already there... But despite all, one can appreciate this kind of interpretation.

Very wonderful version, both instrumentally and vocally. My main issue with most recordings of Charpentier’s Te Deum is the pronunciation of the Latin. This is one of the few recordings I found where the pronunciation of the Latin is done superbly and is no hindrance to the general enjoyment of this divine piece.

Poor Charpentier... Little did he know that in about 50 years ahead his sad, little, pathetic, insignificant creation was gonna be completely overshadowed by the god-like greatness of George Frideric Haendel and Johann Sebastian Bach!!! The manuscript of this composition (as well as many others) should be burned in holy fire, never to be performed again... MEDIOCRE MUSIC for MEDIOCRE PEOPLE!!! Listen & Learn from the 2 absolute BAROQUE-MASTERS rather than wasting your time with this crap, suckers!!!

Thank's to your great knowledge of what barock music should be, you convinced me that dozens of well-known musicians are peanuts, and that Rameau, Lully, de Lalande, Campra, Couperin, Dandrieu, but also Purcell, Soler, Monteverdi, Schütz, Telemann...deserve to be forgotten.
