It's just amazing - never even heard of Bobby Bryant and he's got all the technique & chops of Fats or Dizzy. I thought it was Freddie Hubbard too!

I love trombone and tenor front lines like this. Pretty rare. And they kept it going into the rock and funk, too.

i use to see Paul Horn all the time at Shelly's Manne Hole at 5162 Cahuenga Blvd. off Sunset. They were sort of the house band. Great memories!

I waa fortunate to grow up in Cincinnati with a local jazz station that ran 24 hours. WNOP.. This was a regular feature..I always wanted more.

Bud shank always a favorite his sound his style and the musicians in all his groups a number one players Paul Desmond with Brubeck loved him as many jazz fans I am one of his fans

Amazing!! Never was able to catch him on the streets of San Francisco but I use to see and hear Sonny Simmons outside my 2nd floor window playing for change and didn’t know it was him!
