A simple job on an engine is a rare thing once you pull them apart 😂, from a rebuild perspective do you ever have problems if you put new gears into an old gearbox with different wear patterns?

Modern stuff mixing new with old doesn't tend to be an issue as the wear on teeth is minimal however generally if we're talking worn engagement dogs then it's usually each gear replaced.

Parts producing companies want a quick cash grab before it's all over. The high prices currently reflect the final convulsions of a dying part of the economy. The immense price hikes will cause everyone to stay away from it.

Motul is good! Probably more likely a problem with your gearbox, quickshifter settings or rearset arrangement maybe 🤔👍

Chest mount looks ok - maybe slow the pace down a touch, might make it easier on the viewer….but I am old 😂

Wow that's a lot of power! I remember back in the mid 90s having my ZZR11 run on Stan Stephens Dyno. Full power carbs. Micron system, dynojet kit and k&n filter. It made just over 130 at the tyre static without the sealed intake system doing it's job. I was in the Dyno room when it was run, no ear defenders or anything! Bloody hell it's loud in there. The tester maxed it out and as it was running down just turned round and gave me a big thumbs up. Back then that really was a lot of power. The only thing that old bike did well was to go ridiculously fast in a straight line! How times have changed
