At last, the answer to my long standing question. how can I DIP my spinnerbaits and buzz baits and not having to use brushes to DUST them to get a good base coat on them. Really top notch idea! Thank you so much for sharing this idea.

Very informative video. I like your finished product. I started making jigs in the 60's & we sold them to Gibson's, Howard's and TG&Y and a few bait shops. My first fly tying materials were purchased from the old Herter's catalog. I been at it for awhile and enjoy seeing new ways to build fishing lures. Keep up the good work!

Ive been using my melter for years and have never had it look that bad. Do you flux your lead. Every thousand bullets i cast i drain the pot and use steel wool to clean it. Biggest issue i have is the thermostat goung bad.

It's because I have alot of impurities in the lead I found and use for now. Can't flux inside my vent box made of wood. Rather not burn the house down lol.

@joshsandoval3718 I think I see what your talking about, it's just a blue hose from the pump to a push adapter to screw fit into the brass connector that came with the spray gun, probably 1/4" thread to 1/4" barb or 1/8" barb brass, can get it at lowes or home depot. I am not at home right now to check.

Tool came from Barlows Tackle, but I don't think they sell or make it anymore. O rings came from amazon, 8mm OD, 4mm ID, 2mm width.

Great video man! Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Does baking them create any hazardous fumes? Also shaking the powder paint cannister, does that release into the air when you pull the top off? Just trying to be as safe as i can.

The lead is covered by paint at that point for baking, no fumes from that process. Only when melting the lead is can be dangerous to breathe in fumes. Shaking the powder paint and getting a little air born, you may breathe a very small amount in but as far as I know it's non toxic, still wouldn't hurt to wear a mask. Safety first man.
