Nuff respect for telling those who don’t know the entire history! Iam also a 1st generation Jamerican on both sides of my family. My family on both sides, have been in Jamaica since the Slave Trade from the West African countries of Sierra Leone, and Ghana. Keep up the great work, especially being a fellow West Indian!

African Slavery was brutal no matter where they took us. Two things to remember slaves were taken to America after being broken in the west indies. Also slaves were still snuggled into the U. S AFTER the 1808 ban of bringing slaves from Africa. Lastly the internal slave trade in America was very disgusting. People were bred like dogs and sold like them too.

The british didn´t kidnap people in west Africa but traded them from dominating tribes there, who enslaved weaker tribes. Slavery existed on all continents, in all cultures. The legal slavery ended in the twentieth century due to the british fight against it. Unfortunately there are still 40 millions unlegal slaves today.

" but traded them from dominating tribes there," for weaponry which British and other white slavers used to take advantage of rival tribes. White slavers also did this very same thing with Native Americans and even some Asians. So it's very likely that if you were in the African or Native American or Asian position, you would have done the same thing if it meant keeping up with your enemies in the arms race that the white slave traders introduced. We have to tell the WHOLE truth in context, and stop half-assing it.

One of the main reasons why the death rate was so high in the Caribbean, was not only because of poor conditions, but mainly because these slaves were killed during rebellions, and quite a few ran away, formed communities away from the plantations. There were many slave who chose death over slavery. There were multiple rebellions, that resulted in death of thousands of slaves. I know I may get flack for this, but the American slaves were more docile, hence the higher survival rates.

People forget, if they ever knew, that the diagram of a packed slave ship was made and distributed by British abolitionists. It was based upon the practice of slave ships at that time. The production and distribution of the diagram helped to increase public sympathy for slaves in Great Britain.

Oh so they were Christian and Spiritual at the same time. Look at that. I wonder if that was considered dark magic too? Anything ancestral, was considered devil worship and witchcraft by certain religion groups. This is what happens, when you don't stay in touch with your history and roots. When you deny your people, you lose yourself. Looks like God and the higher realms team, brought me to the right video. (Christianity and Spiritual at the same time) No one is going to see those reparations. I knew the colonizer wanted us to forget our ancestors

I like your channel.............be sure to get some details going forward (this is late I know) "Santeria" would be the correct word (an African diasporic religion that developed in Cuba during the late 19th century. It arose through a process of syncretism between the traditional Yoruba religion of West Africa, the Roman Catholic form of Christianity, and Spiritism) And, to be sure, as pointed out in the chat, Christianity was beaten into the slaves and indigenous peoples of the "new world", not "introduced". Best wishes.

Black people created the first civilization of world history like kemet (the land of the blacks) before it was invaded by Arabs and European now call egypt by its distortion and Nubia to say a few. Africans were the first on the planet earth for thousands of years even more before any other race on the earth and were the first kings and queens in history. Many would like to replace black people contribution to the earth with just black slavery and its for a reason for white people were more slaves than blacks before the Atlantic slave trade the black moors conquer Europe in year 711 and enslave the white people in Spain. Even religions including Christianity and Islam came from black people spiritual teachings back in kemet. Africans black people contributed many great things to the world but there is a system to keep black people full true history hidden and its not right but as one would say all hidden should come to light.
