I was 16 when this came out. 10th grade Riverside, Ca Poly High. Reggie and Cheryl Miller last year there and shared a class or two with Rodney O. Grew up on KROQ

I work full-time (while having illnesses which make that difficult to maintain) in order to support a partner with a disability. The biggest capitalism supporters push policies which would have her die in the streets. Am I allowed to criticize capitalism? When a well-off person criticizes capitalism, they call it hypocrisy. When a working class person criticizes capitalism, they call it bitterness. Anything to avoid actually engaging with the arguments.

Still have my vinyl copy of this single. I miss the 80s DM. They really lost something special when they lost Alan. .. also .. That’s a real photo of an actual guy in the Alps. Their album covers from this era were pretty amazing. Especially A Broken Frame.

Bags of trash. What the hell do I know about suffering and pain? 🤔 They were chuckling guy on a mission. Get rid of crap we feel you. 🤘☺ ♥

My wife left me in 1982.. I was wrecked…this song brings me back to that time, lyrics like “you’ll never change you’re no better than the weather” remind me of her but then I think of how lost I was when I hear “ I don’t wanna leave but it’s time to go …..where? Well I just don’t know”….and that’s the oldest story in the world🙂
