We used a volt sensing micro relay to trigger the Renogy unit and added an override switch - it comes on at 13.4 and switches off at 12.8 volts - We had the same trouble with the very same type of fuse - the plastic housing melted - I kind of reasoned the sprig housing was not making sound contact - like you I fitted a more substantial one that the fuse bolts into and have had no more issues

Hand sanitizer is something I will NEVER use. It kills all the good bacteria on your skin, just like in your mouth and gut. Love the smaller steering wheel unlike the City bus size my Promaster has. One thing I don't seem to understand is why every person giving a tour of their van has the need to list item by item of what they have in every drawer, cabinet or empty space. It's just not necessary. My first video will be removing that.

I just found a " Cooling Throw " blanket that pulls heat off the body, it feels like it came out of the refrigerator, all for under $20.

I did the drive from Ontario in 2020 and 2021, 2022 as well and got stopped in Yukon too! But how could you skip Boya lake on the cassiar? It’s the best part of it!

Starbucks Via is actually really good coffee. I tried it iut for camping about a decade ago and love it so much it's all I drink now unless I am using my espresso machine. I've tried Nescafe, Maxwell House, Sanka, Maude's, and a few others, and Starbucks Via is the best instant coffee by far. My favorite is the Italian Roast. The Columbian Roast is also really good. They are all good. I used to order the 50 pack directly from Starbucks, but they closed their online store, so I get it from Amazon now.

If I was going to wire the d+ connection with a switch instead of to the ignition, I would use a rocker switch with a light on it in plain view so as to avoid accidentally forgetting to turn it off!

Wonderful I’m hoping to fit a Murphy bed in my lwb high top Mercedes sprinter.possibly going to use marine swivel bracket’s but your brackets look good for assisting the up and down movement with the springs.👍

you do not need to be embarrassed that you drink instant coffee. it remains the most popular method for people making coffee at home. we do the same when we are backcountry camping and it is fine. excellent design, especially the murphy bed. good job.

I love this build and all the clever storage. The one thing I would do is put in a wall with a pocket door to block off the front cab. It turns a van into a tiny home. It also helps regulate the temperature in the van.

Great job and such a cute home on wheels. I am hoping you don't come to regret your memory foam mattress. I personally highly dislike memory foam because I remembers how your body impression is, but it doesn't FORGET! Don't be surprised if you switch places sleeping or switch your normal position that you fond an imprint that just won't spring back. I sleep mostly on my back, slightly propped up because of breathing issues and I'm usually leaning more to the left than the right. I ended up having a big dent where I had to sorta roll up a hill to turn right. I really hope you don't have that issue since there are two of you and many different positions, whereas, I'm always in the position I described and I'm the only one in this bed which is an Xtra-long twin. Love the colors in your van and instead of plastic plants try silk ones. They have gotten so good that you're really needing to look hard or even touch it to see if it's real or not. Another option you could try is succulents. They can be sorely neglected and if they get watered even a time or two a month the rather flourish like that. If you haven't seen it already, as you trek West, I highly recommend you make the effort to explore Waterton Glaguer National Park. It's definitely a bucket list kinda place. I week through the USA side (Glaucer) but you probably will see the part I would love to see on the Canadian 🍁 side. You didn't say if you have them, but heated floors would come in very handy while exploring that park. Happy travels and again great build.

Your video is brilliant. I’ve watched it about 8 times for a year now while I’ve been searching for the correct size nut for the CCP post with no luck whatsoever. Do you remember what size bolt you got for yours. 5 is too small and 6 Is too big and I’ve ordered 5.5 online but there came absolutely tiny😢. I’ve even tried ones with rubber inserts but they’re too big also

Just wanted to add, Eternabond Tape is probably the best alternative to using caulk as sealants. Caulk will weather and fail many times sooner than eternabond tape does, which is why a lot of RV folks talk about using it rather than caulk on window installs/replacements as "doing it the right way." Really good stuff - and looks prettier too!

By not looking up you missed one of the things that the Taj is famous for. Its an optical illusion. When outside the main gate, the Taj fills the entire gate opening. Then as you progress through the gate it seems to get smaller and smaller. Amazing.

First when I visited the Taj during 1986, tourists were allowed to view the actual underground vault where the actual tombs are situated & I was lucky to see it. The tombs on top inside the mausoleum are the identical replicas. But early 90s, the underground crypt was closed for public viewing.
